Sandra sat in front of her vanity mirror. Her eyes were red and puffy. She had been crying since she got back from seeing Alex, or rather since Alex yelled at her and asked her to leave.

“Even with that bitch gone, he still treats me like I am nobody. What did I ever do to deserve this from him?!!!” she sobbed quietly.

“Well, if there’s one thing I’ve learned from Alpha and their mates, is that if he chooses you, then he will die chasing you” A shadow answered from the corner of the room. Sandra continued to sob as the shadow slowly made its way to her.

“How about you find someone else who would love and cherish you forever, rather than begging for a man to love you?”

Sandra turned sharply and gawked at him for some seconds before she looked back at her reflection in the mirror. She wiped her eyes and sniffed into the napkin in her hand.
