Chapter 105

Amelia opened her eyes slowly. The light from the window she was facing nearly blinded her with its bright rays of sunlight. She hissed and then proceeded to turn to her side.

She blinked several times as she tried to get her eyes accustomed to the environment before she opened it up completely.

The first person she saw was her mate. Alpha Alex.

He was seated beside her, wearing a frown.

She sat up quickly, wiped her face, and then spoke, "What's wrong?"

"Nothing".

"You can't say nothing is wrong with that look on your face. Tell me, what's wrong?"

Alex wondered if she had fainted so hard that she slipped out of reality for a second. It was so hard to tell if she remembered all that had happened before.

Was he going to be the one to remind her?

"Well, Sandra is requesting to speak with you and only you. She says she will not tell us the location of your child if she doesn't meet with you". He felt his heart break a little as he spoke.
