Lily's palms were slick with sweat as she crept down the dimly lit passageway towards Nancy. The weight of their secret bore down on her like an anvil, making her feel heavy inside. She was no stranger to carrying out Lady Kazia's requests, but this one felt different. It held a weight of deception that she had never felt before.

Nancy stood at the end of the corridor, her expression unreadable in the shadows. She held out a small packet to Lily, who took it with shaking hands. "What is it?" she whispered, the sound somehow amplified in the silence.
