Eva's POV

Why do I feel like this? This is the feeling of meeting someone I know. Was my guess right, this furious growl and this strong scent of citrus fruit. Actually when I first heard this growl, every hair on my body pricked in realisation.

Lucifer lifts his phone and flashes the light on the beastly creature. It was a red wolf but three times larger than normal werewolves. And the pleasant citrus scent emitting from him was mesmerising in my mind. I felt like I was high on drugs with his scent. My feet instinctively took a step forward towards that beast and my eyes sparked red flares in excitement.

I don't know how to describe this feeling. It was like I had known this beast from a very long time and without this beast my life was incomplete. When I was close enough to look into his red eyes, my lips parted and the magical words left my mouth.

" MATE...?"
