He looked down at me murderously before turning towards her. He grabbed her hands and they walked out of the room together, hand in hand. But he soon carried her up and began to rush out of the Packhouse. I was sprawled in my room, still recovering from his strangle. My senses were slowly returning but I still felt dazed.

There was an immediate rush of blood down my throat the moment he left me. I closed my eyes and took in large gulps of air while I heard their footsteps retreating from the Packhouse. I slowly opened my eyes, still noting the pulsating feeling in my forehead.

The vein in the center of my head was beating very loudly so that I wondered what I was really going through within the few minutes Alpha Asher grabbed my neck like I was a criminal. I stayed in that position for a while and nobody came to attend to me, since I didn't want them to come help me.
