Chapter 41: Morning before the Luna ceremony

I slowly opened my eyes and stared into the face of the man who is my mate, my everything. His eyes were shut as he sleep but I could see that he was having a nightmare by the way his forehead creases and his muscles tenses.

I reached out and lightly rubbed his forehead. My mate relaxed under my touch and a deep sigh escaped his lips as he went back into a deep sleep.
