Chapter 27:Meaningless Meeting

Stomping my feet hard on the ground I marched through the hall of my company and towards the main conference room.

“It’s great for you to grace us with your presence, on such a short notice, Alpha Zane”, Elder Miles muttered as he bowed with the other two council elders, as soon as I walked into the conference room.

“I wouldn’t dare to disregard the great and wise men of our pack. Please take back your seats.” I smiled and took my seat with Theodore on my right.

“How can I be of help to our noble elders”, I asked in a bored tone.

I was surprised, when Theodore informed me that the elders were at the company and they were waiting for me in the conference room.

I had a hectic day moving between meetings. All I wanted to do was to go home, take a warm shower and cuddle with my beautiful mate under the warm moonlight without caring about the world.
