Katherine POV

I sprang into action, positioning myself between Nathaniel and Quentin. "Stop!" I shouted, spreading my arms protectively around Quentin.

"If you want to kill her, you'll have to kill me too," I declared, voice shaking but resolute. "Quentin is my friend."

“You're standing with a rogue against your alpha. Do you know you have committed the ultimate betrayal?” Nathaniel growled at me but I just swallowed nervously before moving towards him..

Nathaniel's jaw clenched, tension radiating from his stance. The air hung heavy with unresolved conflict.

"Quentin's a good rogue, she's never harmed anyone," I pleaded, trying to reason with Nathaniel.

But Nathaniel's expression remained unyielding, his jaw clenched in anger.

"There's no such thing as a good rogue!" he thundered, his voice echoing through the air. "They're all vile creatures, a threat to our kind."

His gaze snapped to Quentin, who trembled, her eyes wide with fear.

"You have two minutes to leave my sight," Nathaniel
