Fuck.

This is exactly why I wanted to stay away from her. When I'm with her, I lose all sense of reasoning and say the first thing that comes to mind. With each encounter, I just keep getting bolder and it's getting harder to hold on to that cold exterior.

The sweet taste of freedom- of love is promising but I can't deny the burn that comes with it. I can't let myself get deceived and sucked into this illusory feeling only to crash and burn when reality hits. Somehow the words slipped out before I could stop them but at least I can stop her from having any hopes or expectations of me.
