Luna's Pov

Nikkie and I sat, staring out at the stars, somehow feeling the tension between us like a tiny veil that couldn't be torn.

I couldn't believe he actually kissed me. Why did he do that? Was he feeling pity for me, or did he do it to comfort me? Or perhaps could it be because it was Keira he was seeing in my tears?

“Nikkie.” I called, softly, “Why did you kiss me?” I asked, staring at my pink fingers as they fidgeted with themselves.

“Because I wanted to.”

“You wanted to?” I turned to him, watching the wind ruffle his hair slightly.

“Yeah. Crying girls are my weakness.”

“Are you sure?” I asked. It couldn't be because I was merely crying. The way he'd kissed me was with a different yet clear intention.

He'd kissed me completely, and then our kisses had let out loving smacks as we held onto each other. I didn't think I would forget the feeling of his hands playing on my skin, traveling up my back, touching me gently. He nearly lifted me onto his lap as our kiss ran deeper.

Keira's PovMy scream pierced into the night, past the trees, echoes ripping through the waters like a bullet. My hand swiped out, and I caught Damien's wrist between my fingers. Man, he was strong! It felt like I was trying to push a falling wall back up. It was way too strong for me. I placed my other hand on his wrist, grunting with my teeth clenched together. My arms trembled under the force of his strength. “Holding up, uh? Who do you think you are?” He demanded, his eyes gleaming as he pushed harder, managing to drive his claws into my shoulder.I shrieked again, this time, releasing an unearthly sound that caused the birds in the trees to flutter away in a shower of feathers. With my nostrils flaring and my breath coming out forced and shaky, I tried to keep up with pushing Damien's hand backwards, even though he was slowly driving his claws deeper into my shoulder.Warm blood soaked my wet shirt easily, staining it with a bright crimson. Just before my defense failed, he

Luna's PovIt would indeed be a loud miracle if we happened to find the author before I completely lost all my memories. The Palace was huge and buzzing with people. The chandeliers were so high on the ceiling that I almost fell backwards, trying to stare at them.“This way.” The man said, jerking off to the left, into a long hall painted in beige with flowers hanging in vases at the top of the walls. The place smelled like hot buns baking in the oven on a fresh summer's day. One of the men stopped in front of a blank wall, and began to draw patterns on the wall with his finger. He was too fast to even try to decipher what pattern he was drawing, let alone try to remember it. Lines broke into the wall, like a round spike of some sort, deepening further into the wall. We stepped back involuntarily, as a low hum filled the place. And still in that spiky form, the wall pried itself apart, spreading wide enough for people to walk in. One of them stepped in, walking into the darkness.

  • The Luna’s Obsessed Lycan Alphas   Chapter Eighty Three

Keira's PovIt was a suicide mission. There were ten opponents in three sets. The first three had bulky muscles, rippling in their arms, veins shooting in their legs, their faces shaped in grim hatred like a writing set in stone. They looked to be thrice my size. Honestly, I could have sworn they were breathing out smoke from their nostrils. The next four were dressed in long white robes, and looked slim, yet deadly like long thin swords with the sun bouncing off the blade. One would think they were underfed, but I knew it only meant that they would be very fast and easy to slip off my hands. Their ponytails were tight, causing the edges of their eyes to look sharp. The dark mascara and eyeliner applied to their eyes made them look like villains. To be precise, they reminded me of snakes. Beautiful, yet cunny and deadly, waiting for the right time to pounce. The last three were stunning as well. They laughed and giggled among themselves, clapping their hands and tipping their heads

Luna's PovI sat with my back to the door, breathing heavily as I tried to retain the memory of Ryder. It felt so unfair. All that I could see were his eyes. His beautiful eyes of molten gold. The negative thoughts began to mess with my head. What if I lost all my memories and became Keira? Would I even be able to go back? Would I think Nikkie and Emily were being crazy if they attempted to bring me back to my senses? My hands dug into my hair as I gave the deepest sigh of my life. I am here now. I ought to keep the negative thoughts out of my head—ban them completely.I will find this Author. I would find them, and make them send me back. Ryder, it's fine. I will remember you soon enough. You and everyone else I must have forgotten. I rose to my feet, and surveyed the giant room through heavy eyes.Painted in white, it had a mix of silver and golden chandeliers, and looked like a princess’ room. White sheets, wide bed, golden wardrobes, with twinkling fairies as handles. A lar

Keira's PovI didn't know for how long I screamed, but I did know that while I was fighting inside me, some insane creature was roaring loud and frightfully, but I didn't even care to know what creature that was. I was just so sick and tired of everything. If I lost Nikkie, I didn't know how I would feel, how I would fight, because it was bound to have a huge impact on me. Was there actually anything I could do without him? Finally, I was able to regain my senses when I was able to hold on to the image of Nikkie in my head. My hands scraped the sand, squeezing them into my palms, while saliva dropped from my open mouth mixed with blood. I raised my head slightly, looking around. Evening had fallen, but I could see their faces clearly. They looked like they'd seen a beast. I would have fretted, looking around me, but I didn't seem to have the strength to. They were far from me. Even the wolf I'd injured badly was feet away from me, looking absolutely terrified. The three psychos wh

Luna's PovI stared into the distance at the unicorn that galloped away at full speed, its words echoing in my head. Face who I am. What exactly did it mean by that? Nikkie also said something similar. Facing my selfishness by deciding to do the things I'd always denied people. Having kids. Well, let's say I was a selfish person, and the most selfish thing I've ever done was try not to have kids when others wanted them so much. But to see the author, I had to face my selfishness. Was he telling me to have a kid? In Keira's body? No. It can't be that. The other things I'd been selfish about were a thousand minor things that just made up my gigantic selfish reputation. The only major one I knew was the issue of kids, since I trampled on so many in denying having kids. I turned around, and began to walk away from the clasp of trees, making my way back to the celebrations.I walked into the hall, back in the midst of the buzzing music, looking all around. What the heck was wrong with t

Keira's Pov“You are not Luna.” Ryder said, his eyes holding every ounce of truth in them.“I… how…? I don't understand…”“You said it yourself.” He cut in, “You told me in that dream of the man you love— Nikkie, and since then, I've been monitoring you to see all the things you'd do wrong, all the things that would point you out as Keira. After much thought, I've concluded that you're Keira, not Luna.”I bit my lip gently, curious only about one thing in all the things he mentioned. The man I love. “You said something about me telling you about the man I love. Is there… such a man?” My fingers fidgeted with each other, as my brain worked at full speed, going back and forth, crashing against the walls of my mind. I remember feeling miserable and screaming during the duel, but who caused it?Damn. I'd forgotten. The thought of forgetting someone I didn't want to sting hard, and my eyes burned, oozing tears. Was that the reason for the ache in my chest? The reason I wanted so badly

Luna's PovThe both of us lay on the floor of the rooftop, watching the star-strewn sky as breeze brushed the hair on our skins. I'd experienced breaking my virginity twice, and both times were so beautiful. I couldn't believe Nikkie and I made love. Each moment had been a burst of passion, a splash of deep and raw emotion. He lay next to me, his dark hair strewn over his face, and I watched him, putting my finger on his face, so I could push his hair aside. His skin was still ridiculously soft, just as his face was ridiculously handsome. He was every bit the prince charming. I can remember when I first met him. I wondered how Keira could fall for someone who looked as feminine as he looked, but now I understood perfectly. Just what she saw in him, what she liked about him, and what kept her falling for him over the years, even though he constantly rejected her. “You’re making me shy. Stop staring,” he suddenly muttered, his lids opening to reveal those clear blue eyes that made

Luna's PovI buckled up, ready to storm that damned festival, and put a stop to the whole thing. I would drag Valerie and Damien out, then give them the harshest spanking of their lives. They would regret ever trying to take my place. “Let's go.” I said to Elaine, and she followed me without many words, “So have you met your doppelgänger?”“Yes, I've met her. She'd almost lost all her memories, but she didn't know what to do, where to start from, so she just regarded this as a nightmare. She felt she was in a coma in the real world, and this is perhaps the world comatose people fall into. Comatose, my foot.” Elaine chuckled. “Well, better for her to think she's comatose, or she'd have gone crazy.”“Luna, do you think this is a good idea?”“If it's not a good idea, then what else could it be? Eventually, we’ll have to confront them.” I said, brushing my hair. Red hair really sucks on me, by the way. Elaine didn't say anything else out of fear of uncertainty until we got to the festi

Keira's Pov‘How disrespectful!’ Maini spat from within me. I could feel her anger burning, the heat spreading, threatening to consume my whole body with the force, ‘Do as your Luna commands!’ She snarled, and my claws slid out without me even making them to. The fangs also sliced their way out, and the next few minutes was a complete bloodbath. I didn't even know what I was doing. All I knew was that blood was splashing onto my face and chest in all directions. Bones snapping, blood gushing, men screaming, teeth falling out, flesh pierced…Maini wielded my body like a weapon as I dodged, smashed, thrust, grabbed, struck, and did everything with immense speed and depth. Before I knew it, I was standing, breathing hard, my chest heaving heavily, blood dripping from my fingers as the men lay everywhere around me.“Perfect.” I heard Luna say, as she began to clap. Then I turned to her, with a little smile, “Thanks to Valerie, I was able to strengthen Maini.” I replied, a little shy

Luna's PovWe all stared at each other as the moon rose higher in the sky.“This is it for us, I guess,” Nikkie said, and I found myself stuck in his beautiful eyes that seemed to hold all the sorrow in the world.“If you look so sad, then I really won't be able to go,” I replied softly.“You both are not in another country or city where we can give a call, or send a letter. You're going to another world entirely. The moment you go now, you will never return.” Emily said, her eyes already filling up with tears, and Elaine hugged her. “We're all going to be okay. Just know that we're going to miss you too.” She said, patting Emily's head, and I moved to Nikkie on my knees, bringing him closer to me in a hug. “The heavens know how much I'll miss you. You've been the major source of my change. I'm grateful for all you've done for me, Nikkie.” Then I pulled away, and hugged Emily, as Elaine went to hug Nikkie, “You too. I think I'll remember you each time I see a ginger-headed woman. I'

Keira's PovI walked quickly, the moon filtering through the trees that closed around me. The leaves rustled noisily as I ruffled past them, while the twigs snapped with such ferocity that you'd think the forest didn't want me there since I was going to shed blood that night. I was doing it all for Luna. You might be wondering what I'm saying, and everything is all confusing, but don't you worry, it's all going to be better because she found me.Yes, Luna found me. *FLASHBACK*“...surrender!”The voice was painstakingly like mine, blending in the sharp echoes of the dark place, and I wondered for a moment if I was dreaming, or hallucinating. I couldn't see anyone, but the voice was everywhere, coming from not one particular place.“Keira.” The voice came again, more urgently, “Are you there? Can you hear me?” “I… can hear you.” I replied, still uncertain…“It's Luna.” She said, and my mouth dropped while an unexplainable joy filled me up like a fountain. The joy was radiating from

Luna's PovI fell to the ground immediately, landing hard on my butt. What was going on?Lenny moved backwards, trashing the walking stick. “Stand at the door.” She said to the maids, as she took off her coat, and the maids bowed, going to the door instantly. She went back to the window, where she jumped onto a rotating chair, and twirled it around. “It was fun.” She squealed, before turning back to me, with all the seriousness etched on her face, “Nice meeting you, Luna. I'm the MoonCub.” Moonlight shed onto her beautiful features. Even with a poker face, she looked divine. “I don't understand.” My words came out in a broken whisper. “What part do you not understand? I assumed you were smart.” She replied, staring at me with a raised brow. MoonCub. We should have known. A cub was literally a baby! And she… was a product of the moon. It was just so hard to imagine that the blind girl who was cautious about everything and everyone was the one I was searching for all along.Slow

Keira's PovI woke up, my eyes wet with tears that had rolled downwards. I continued to sniff, wiping my tears as they rolled down continuously. ‘What just happened?’ Maini asked, dazed just like I was. “I’m going home.” I sniffed again, sitting up gently, leaning against the dirty wall. ‘It was real. I felt it.’ Maini whispered, sounding near to tears. “I know it was real, and we only have to do what she says. It would be fine. I've never felt freer to tell everything to someone. Finally, I feel less hopeless, but first, I'll need to do something about this situation.”I skidded around the halls, looking for doors, trapdoors, and ways to get out. And luck found me. Instead of finding a trapdoor, I found a door, with light peeking out at the edges. Running to it, I pulled, hoping against hope that it would be open, and I'd be able to come out safely. The door came out freely and lots of air gushed in freely, slapping my face like a flood. For how long was I out in my head? It

Luna's PovI rose to my feet sharply, my chair scraping backwards behind me hastily. “I got a… a letter from the MoonCub!” I squealed, my feet bouncing off the floor as I jumped, before running around.“Wait, what? Come here! Bring it!” Nikkie shouted, coming to me, as I ran around the room, unable to contain my energy. “Wait, Luna, let us see!” Elaine cried, and they all crowded around me, passing the letter among themselves. I went down onto my knees, covering my mouth to muffle my scream. “I'm going back home!” I cried, suddenly feeling the overwhelming need to let tears down. Damn, my throat burned. “Okay, let's not get too excited!” Emily screamed, even though her face was pink with shock and excitement, “This so-called MoonCub might, and might not help. We can't rejoice until we know for sure. We have to see this person first!”“Emily's right. I swear I might break down if my heart is broken again. The first thing to do is see this MoonCub.”“Got it. I'll go now.”“Okay, hu

Using us, deciding to settle in a life that's not yours. I just knew it. Everything with you was terribly wrong.” His teeth were gritted, and I could feel he was barely holding back from striking me. “But… I t…told you. From the very beginning, I've always told you that I'm not L… Luna.” I protested softly, stepping a foot backwards from him.“It's natural for everyone to find that fact unbelievable at first, but you should have kept on telling the truth. Will you pretend that there wasn't a time you tried to make us keep believing that you were Luna? You even tried to stop us from having the concubines. You did so many things to make us believe you were ours. Damn you for that.” His voice grew louder with each sentence, and eventually he shoved me aside harshly. “Zane, for now, we can't dwell on punish

Luna's PovI squeezed my fists hard. “Is everything okay?” Lenny asked, her unseeing eyes focused on empty space, as her brows furrowed. Then I bit down on my lip aggressively.“Ah! I let out, as the metallic taste of blood touched my tongue. For just a moment, everything seemed to stop.Taking in deep shaky breaths, I began to scratch hard at my skin, planting marks on my arm. Pain… Pain seemed to draw everything to it. If my mind was working on something else, processing pain, it wouldn't be able to focus on its brainwashing sessions.“Why are you quiet? Talk to me.” Lenny said, her hands reaching out to search for me. Her little fingers touched the wounds I was carving into my skin, and we both gasped. “Careful.” I lashed out, even though I was the one inflicting the pain on myself. “What are you doing? What's that? It feels like a fresh wound.” She placed her fingers on her nose, smelling the blood on it, “Did you get hurt?” She turned to me instantly, her eyes lost in space.
