Chapter 9 Caught

Elizabeth POV

I looked between both women. Each of us has had to kill to survive. What the hell was waiting for us out here? Would we find peace? As if the Moon Goddess had heard my question, there was a loud pounding suddenly on the door. We all jumped. About to speak, a man yelled through the door.

“Jasmine! Open the damn door!” he says. I mouth Jasmine to them both about to yell out when Jessica jumps up, “Sshhh, they are from my past. That asshole at the front desk called them,” she whispers. “Are they wolves?” I ask back and she shakes her head no. “So, we fight our way out of here,” Mandy whispers.

“We cannot do that. We are in a human territory. They will continue to hunt us until they find us. The laws are different here,” she whispers. “Come on Jasmine, open up! The boss is willing to look the other way even though you killed his best customer,” the man on the other side of the door yells.
