Blair's Point Of View
As I shook, I stepped away from the white eyed creature, scared that it may do something very evil I was not prepared for. I wanted to scream for aid but I didn't even know where to start. “What could you be?” I asked it as I walked closer to the door. The angelic creature came out laughing. It was a woman and she looked very beautiful. “So you’re still not smart to see? You can not guess? I have been with you since forever, sent from the moon goddess and you’re asking me such questions.” I stopped when I heard what the white wolf said. Its eyes were still shining as it shook its head at the foolish question I asked. “Or did the trauma of losing the one thing you really love affect you this much?” “The thing I love?” I asked as I said in shock at the creature close to me in awe. Its smile became wide as it waited patiently for me to respond. That was when I came to my senses. “This creature, you’re my angel!” “You can call me Betty,” She said as she laughed with happiness in her eyes. I was in awe. This was difficult to believe. I just looked at the beast as I tried to believe whatever it was that was happening. “This is not possible, this cannot be, I do not have an angel,” I said as I doubted and tried to believe what was happening. This made the lady fume in anger. “So who do you want to believe? these losers here or your mind and reasoning?” She questioned. I became silent as I tried to put together the dots of what was happening. “You better believe it Blair, I don’t have time to waste here,” Betty said as she drew my attention to herself again. “We have always been together for the longest, you have always had an angel.” “Always?” I questioned as I thought of that word wondering what she meant when she said that. That was when Betty revealed that she was one with me and she had been hearing all of my cries. I wondered why I did not know. She said that she monitored me for the longest but was scared to show herself with me or talk with me because she did not know how I would react. “You have finally reached your breaking point and are going to start your journey in pain and loneliness. You will surely need a companion. That was what connected us,” she said as she laid on the ground and fluttered her wings together. I now understood what she was talking about. Jayce had planned with my sister to throw me out after all the good things I did for him drove me to take a big decision to leave him forever. The fire and grief that sparked me to take the decision connected me and my angel. After accepting my angel, I asked her about her background. She was different from any other angel I’d seen. Some angels had yellow, green, red eyes but hers were shiny, mixed with all the print colors and had a gold lining. With happiness in her voice, she said I was the last of an extinct wolf. My type of wolves were moved by extreme emotions and the wolf’s angel will be fired to come out. That was how Betty was able to reach me after all. “Why did you allow the foolish guy to keep using you as his toy? After everything you had done for him, you were going to accept nothing and leave him empty handed?” She asked me while she flew to the air. Her eyes were shining with fire and it made chills go down my legs. “So what do you now decide, will you allow Jayce to enjoy his life while you die away in pain or will you show him the aftermath of your anger?” She asked as she gave me options. I did not know what to say at the time. I was still trying to process this revelation and I could not think properly. “I am torn in between,” I said as I lifted my eyes to look at Betty. Before I could blink my eyelids, she was gone. The twenty three hours I was meant to spend time with her was over. Jayce and Anabelle came to bang at my door and asked me to let them in. I was still on my bed, consumed in my thoughts as they came to knock. I opened my door and Anabelle walked in. She pushed me to the side and looked at me and asked for the divorce papers. “I hope you have signed it? Do you not know that you are wasting our time?” Jayce asked as he stared around the room. I did not give them any answer in particular but I walked to the drawers where I kept the papers, took it out in Jayce’s front and kept it on the table. Jayce dragged it from the table and opened it. “What do you think you are doing?” He questioned angrily and opened the pages and saw that they were empty. “Why have you not signed the papers yet, what could you be waiting for?” He yelled as he threw the papers on me. Anabelle came closer to him and asked him to throw me out of his house if I did not do what I was told. “She’s thinking she’s still the Luna of the mansion. Throw her out already.” When I heard what Anabelle said, I answered her with my head still down. “The truth is, I don’t think I can sign those papers because of the promise I made to your father, the late alpha.” I went ahead to tell them the promise and I also made a request at once. “Could you please give me a few months to grant his last wish? Once I have helped you and your lover to get married, I’ll leave this area forever,” I promised as I lifted my head to look at them. They looked at me with uncertainty in their faces and they laughed out loud. “You said you wished on his deathbed, you must be stupid to even think we’d believe that,” Anabelle chirped in. “Okay, your wish is granted,” Jayce agreed, leaving Anabelle shocked. “I’ll grant your wish of staying here for the time you have said, when you are ready to leave, you’ll sign these divorce papers, leave and never come back?” “Yes boss,” I replied to him and bowed. Jayce’s decision made Anabelle angry. She protested against it. She tried to tell Jayce to refuse but Jayce did not listen to her. “It is the truth. It was my fathers dying wish. It was her duty to make sure I was always happy, it is better she happily hands over her position rather than being mocked for doing so,” Jayce said as he tried to cheer Anabelle's mood. She reluctantly agreed to what Jayce said and turned to give me an evil eye. “Besides, she is not a strong person, I don’t think she will last a week,” Jayce mocked me as he left the room with Anabelle. I looked at them as I watched them leave. That was when I heard Betty’s voice, “you made the right choice Blair, excellent!"Blair’s point of view. After my wish was granted, my queenship was stripped from me immediately. Jayce made sure all the servants in his house did not call me his Luna anymore . He brought Annabelle before them instead and asked them to call her Luna instead and said she was his one true mate and only love. He told them of their wedding that was coming soon and asked them to serve and respect her.How did I know all of these? After Anabelle accepted my request, he came with some guards and threw away my things from the majestic quarters I used to live in. “If you’re going to stay in this house then you should be prepared to do chores and run errands because I am feeding you,” he said harshly as he led me to my new room.He called all the maids to make an announcement and during the announcement he introduced Anabelle as his new queen. The servants looked at me and pity filled their heads and they did not do anything but feel my pains, especially those that had known me before. When
Blair's Point Of ViewI stood in the parlor as I cleaned the floor, as I was ordered by Jayce. This part of the tile was one of the hardest to scrub. He purposely and willingly gave me this task to scrub and leave no stains behind. He also threatened to beat me up if he saw any dirt. The floor had brown tiles and he asked me to make sure it was white. I was exhausted. As I cleaned I heard people talking and laughing from behind. I turned around with my hopes high to see who it was only to see Anabelle and her friend, Jessica coming into the mansion.I had always hated this girl. Before our parents died, she influenced my sister to make bad decisions.“I’m so glad that you’re happy my sweet friend. You’re finally with the man you’ve always loved,” she said with joy to her friend.Anabelle blushed childishly and hugged her friend for the kind words. “When are you two going to go to the altar?”“Girl! Be patient! Everything will come together perfectly,” she said as she giggled. “I'm j
Blair POV I lay on that small bed in my dim room, the thin beam of light sneaking in through the window and casting long malignant shadows against the walls. It was much like a prison cell; with each passing day, the bars around my heart tightened. Laughter from the antics of Jayce and Anabelle infused every nook and corner of the house, bringing me the taunting pangs of my downfall. Ever since that betrayal, the heart was taken on a roller coaster ride, and somewhere deep in me, that little flicker of will started to shine through. "I can't take this anymore," I murmured. With that very utterance, the shortness of breath seemed but an echo of how, at that moment, a binding force of attention and power wrought through me. A good, obedient girl who listened to her fate no longer dwelled there. It was time to call my spirit, Angel, and firm my ground. The sun set, and the moon gushed silver through the window. I sat up; my heart raced as Angel wrestled within. "Going to rise, Blair?"
Blair POV The thick silence following felt heavy with doubt and tension. Eyes were fixed on me, anticipation racing in the room as Jayce and Anabelle’s expressions morphed from shock into uncontained anger. I could see their minds beginning to spin, knowing all too well their little act was about to fall out of the meticulously organized scheme."Blair," Jayce practically growled, stepping forward with utter ferocity in his eyes, reclaiming what little control he had left. "You really have no idea what you're doing. This is not your place."I took another breath while I felt that current of strength flowing within me because of Angel. "You're wrong, Jayce. This is exactly my place. I will not sit by and let you and Anabelle lie to this pack and sweep everything I have fought for under the rug."Anabelle mocked me with a sneer. "You really think anybody is going to believe you? You are nothing but a discarded Luna, a pathetic maid now, and you think you can disrupt our wedding??? How
Blair POVThe air had ripples of tension and electricity that stood as a contrast against the gathering’s somber atmosphere. I stood at the center of that gathering, surrounded by the most loyal members of my pack. Their anticipation weighed heavy upon me but somehow added fuel to my flame. I was no longer the weakling Luna they had spurned; I was a wolf ready to reclaim her power. The sight of all those faces filled me with determination. I had been hunched over for too long. With the knowledge of their support, I was fortified. And these were the ones who had seen Jayce and Anabelle display the greatest cruelty one could witness. Hope surged through me. I was going to fight back."Listen to me!" I shouted over the murmurs that had pervaded the air. "It is not just about me today; it is about all of us. We have suffered long enough at the hands of Jayce and Anabelle. Their game of manipulation and deceit ends today!"More murmurs ran through the crowd, and I saw the fire igniting in
Blair POVEqually thick was the silence in the packhouse, the constant beating of my heart resounding like a drum in my ears. The faces of my pack bore enormous resolve, the reflection of a novel flame of hope emerging from their eyes. Together, we stood; a solid wall against the gust of betrayal that had once threatened to tear us apart.Jayce and Anabelle exchanged glances, the shadows deepening upon their faces at the gravity of the situation. They had utterly underestimated the force of our unity, the force we had drawn from standing together against oppression. "What makes you think they will side with you, Blair?" he spat with so much venom. "You are just a maid, and they will follow me, their Alpha!"My entire pack was a frenzied backdrop of passion behind my back, an aura of solidarity so thick I could taste it. "You are no Alpha, Jayce. You have ruled through fear and deceit; that ends today!" I shouted with deliberate clarity, strength and conviction behind my words. "We ar
Blair POVIt was electrifying; with every pulse that surged through me, the collective energy of the loyal pack members behind me continued to build. It surged with ferocity through my veins like fire; I had never felt this before. We feared none but welcomed the confrontation with the darkness that had trailed our lives for too long.Jayce and Anabelle stood unmoving in anger and disbelief. “You think you can just take what’s mine?” Jayce shouted, voice shaking with rage. “You are nothing without me!” “That is wrong, Jayce,” I replied, steady and strong. “I am everything because I have a pack. I am not alone anymore!”Instantly the burden of the past lifted off my shoulder. The hurt, the betrayal—these things had made me the leader I ought to have been. I had come for the title and my position among my people. “This is too nonsense; I will not tolerate any of it!” Anabelle shrieked in her fury. “You will regret this, Blair! You think you could come in here and take my place? You ar
Blair POVAn palpable tension was felt in the pack house as we squared off to face Jayce and Anabelle. The crackle of electricity filled the air with anticipation; a storm was brewing as my pack stood behind me in solidarity. It was the feeling of all of my comrades' strength binding together, and it helped to steady my resolve. This was it; this moment meant everything to all of us.“Do you really think you can take this from me?” Jayce spat, desperation lacing his words. He glanced at Anabelle for support, but she looked equally as shaky. Their front was crumbling under pressure, and I caught a glimmer of fear hiding beneath their show of bravado.“Your reign of terror ends today,” I proclaimed, stepping forward with a confidence I had never felt before. “You’ve used us, and you’ve betrayed us for too long. From now on, we will not live in fear of you!”The pack cheered and howled for me, the din a chorus of their support. “Blair! Blair! Blair!” They chanted, and the words vibrated
The days following the triumph against the dark wolves were characterized by a kind of prudent hope. Despite the pack's constant efforts to bolster their bonds and to strengthen their defenses, the dark wolves' ghost haunted great across their heads. As she led her herd through this unsure period, Blair felt the burden of leadership even more.As wolves trained and sharpened their skills for the issues on the way, the clearing hummed with activity. Watching Kade directing a group of smaller wolves through several defensive drills, Blair stood at the edge. His voice resonated power, a clear reminder of his function as a leader together with hers.Kade yelled, his gaze traveling around the group, "Maintain your formation close!" “Keep in mind, we fight as one! If one of us falters, we all fall apart!”As Blair observed the group react to Kade's orders, their dances grew more coordinated with each session, she felt a burst of pride. Although underneath the surface a current of anxiety li
Around them the fighting was a frenzied maelstrom of growls, claws, fur. But their attention stayed sharp as the booming noises of battle encircled them and Blair and Kade went farther into the swarm of black wolves. The weight of their pack's safety pressed heavily on their shoulders, and they knew they had to act decisively.“Keep pushing!” Kade's yell resonated above the clamor. “Before it can call in more reinforcements, we have to find the dark leader!”Blair nodded, her heart pounding as they battled toward the dark leader still causing destruction at the center of the battlefield. Every hit they landed seemed to be one more step toward recovering their domain, but the black wolves never ceased, their eyes glittering with menace.Blair sensed the tide of war starting to turn once more as they battled through the snarling crowd. The black wolves were disciplined and very numerous, so her own group could have got overrun. "Kade, we have to synchronize our strikes!" Blair hollered.
Blair stood among her packmates after the battle, their wearied but victorious visages glimmering warmly in the aftermath of the fire. Facing the dark wolf and his pack, they had united to protect their grounds with steady determination. While the win had strengthened their connection, Blair saw that the road was long still from finished.Blair experienced a mixture of tiredness and excitement as the stars above sparkled. The noises of the forest enveloped them, a reminder that life went on irrespective of the chaos they were just subjected to. Still, there was a weight in her heart with regard to her pack's future and safety—or perhaps her responsibility."Blair called, her voice firm but with exhaustion pulling at her limbs." “Gather around, everyone!” The packmates made a circle around the torch, their expressions a blend of exhaustion and pride or arrogance.Looking into the eyes of her friends, she started off, “We have battled hard today, so I need to laud every one among you.”
The clearing buzzed with the consequences of the most recent combat as the sun climbed higher in the sky. The pack moved with renewed resolve, each wolf sharpening their abilities for the unknown future. Though Blair was determined to keep her family safe, she felt the weight of authority bearing down hard on her shoulders. In her head, the memory of the dark wolves' assault still lingered, an everpresent reminder that peril was not far off. The pack's recent fight with the dark wolves had reopened longburied traumas and anxieties that some had believed to be covered as well as given them more than just bodily scars.Kade's voice sliced across her mind, yanking her back into the now. His brow creased with worry, he came with a grave look. “Let's talk on our next moves.” The assault on Lyra has rattled all of us and I can sense the pack's anxiety.”Her heart sank, and Blair nodded. "Same for me. Their concerns should be frankly discussed and we need to comfort them that we are ready to
The clearing bristled with fresh energy and direction in the days after their win. Although the pack had held off the black wolves once more, the fight had left marks—both apparent and unseen. Blair could feel the remaining pressure among her packmates as she passed the clearing. The most recent feud had revived past worries; many were still tormented by the darkness they had confronted even if they had prevailed.Watching her her packmates run their drills, Blair stood at the edge of the training grounds. Showing defensive formations with a savage intensity, Kade was front a pack of younger wolves. Even the heat of the sun couldn't dissipate the anxiety that remained in the air The filtered sunlight passed through the trees, throwing dappled shadows on the ground.Bounding along to Blair's side, Annabelle shouted"Blair!" We must discuss our next actions. Following the previous attack, the pack is still on alert.”Blair nodded, feeling her heart sink with the weight of leadership. I u
One evening, as the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm glow over the clearing, Blair gathered her packmates around the fire for another moment of reflection. “We must remember that even in the face of adversity, we are stronger together,” she said, her voice steady. “The darkness may threaten us, but we will not back down. Our bond is unbreakable, and we will protect our home.”As the pack howled in agreement, Blair felt a surge of pride swell within her. They were ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead, united in their purpose. The next day, as they continued their preparations, a sense of unease hung in the air. The dark wolves had been silent since their scouts had returned, and Blair couldn’t shake the feeling that they were planning something more sinister. “Blair,” Kade said one afternoon as they patrolled the borders, his expression serious. “Do you think they’re waiting for us to let our guard down?”Blair sighed, her heart heavy with concern. “It’s possible. T
As they broke into smaller groups, Blair watched as her packmates engaged in various drills, practicing their movements and strategies. The energy in the clearing was infectious, and she felt a sense of pride swell within her.As the training session progressed, Kade approached Blair, his expression serious. “We need to discuss the possibility of conducting reconnaissance missions into the dark wolves’ territory,” he said, his voice low. “If we can gather intelligence on their movements, we can stay one step ahead.”Blair nodded, her heart racing at the thought of taking action. “You’re right. We need to know what we’re up against. Let’s prepare a team of our strongest scouts to conduct the missions. They must be trained and ready to gather information without drawing attention to themselves.”In the following days, the pack worked diligently to prepare for their reconnaissance missions. They selected their most skilled scouts, ensuring that each had a clear understanding of their obj
In the wake of their hard-fought victory, the clearing buzzed with a sense of purpose and renewed energy. The pack had proven their strength against the dark wolves, and now they were ready to rebuild and fortify their home. As the sun rose higher in the sky, casting a warm glow over the landscape, Blair stood at the edge of the clearing, reflecting on the battle they had just endured. The aftermath of the conflict still lingered in the air a mix of triumph and sorrow. While they had emerged victorious, the cost of that victory weighed heavily on her heart. The memories of fallen comrades haunted her thoughts, and she knew that they must honor those who had sacrificed everything for their pack.“Blair!” Kade called, approaching her with a determined expression. “We should gather everyone for a meeting. It’s important that we discuss how we will honor our fallen and what our next steps will be.”Blair nodded, her heart swelling with gratitude for Kade’s leadership. “You’re right. Let’
The bright lights of dawn filtered through the trees, sending forth a heavy mist that covered the clearing like a wet shroud. Here lay the promise of a battle ahead. Blair stood at the edge of the woods, heart thumping at the sight of her packmates waiting restlessly for yet another fight with the dark wolves: tension crackled in the air, every breath echoing the promise of things to come. They had all been trained for this moment, but it tortured them with uncertainty."Blair!" Kade called, breaking into all her thoughts. He came close and bore a serious yet determined expression. "We've gotta see how finalized our formation is, and all strategies, before we hear beyond the dark wolves."Blair nodded and, shaking the anxiety from her mind, answered, "You are right. Let's gather everybody and go through what we have one last time." Urgency burned through her body and pushed her to resolve. The pack assembled in the clearing, and Blair drew a breath--her heart steadied when she saw the
