Blair POV
I lay on that small bed in my dim room, the thin beam of light sneaking in through the window and casting long malignant shadows against the walls. It was much like a prison cell; with each passing day, the bars around my heart tightened. Laughter from the antics of Jayce and Anabelle infused every nook and corner of the house, bringing me the taunting pangs of my downfall. Ever since that betrayal, the heart was taken on a roller coaster ride, and somewhere deep in me, that little flicker of will started to shine through. "I can't take this anymore," I murmured. With that very utterance, the shortness of breath seemed but an echo of how, at that moment, a binding force of attention and power wrought through me. A good, obedient girl who listened to her fate no longer dwelled there. It was time to call my spirit, Angel, and firm my ground. The sun set, and the moon gushed silver through the window. I sat up; my heart raced as Angel wrestled within. "Going to rise, Blair?" she asked, with calmness barely disguising that steel tone. "Yes." The intense surge of seriousness flooded my body. "Not their toy anymore. I want to fight back." "Well," she said, with every word imbued with encouragement, "The power is within you. Claim it, and we will take back what is yours.” The heartbeat seemed to drag on for an eternity, each thump of my heartache turning to goods-a-determination. I inhaled the musky air, sensing life through my veins-my wolf spirit. Enraged with fury, I focused my attention-on my pain, all transmogrifying into a righteous flame of desire for vengeance. "I will not let this go!" I declared. As the first rays of the sun came pouring down, I dedicated the rest of the day to thinking about what I planned to accomplish. Winning the pack's confidence would be my first priority. From the very beginning, Jayce and Anabelle had been working to marginalize me, but I had long seen glimmers of allegiance amongst the other maids and subordinated pack members who bore the brunt of Anabelle's tyranny. All these were waiting for a leader, someone under whom they could galvanize-they will soon have their leader. I rushed into the kitchen, my heart thumping painfully. A small group of maids was congregated there. Tension filled the air as their eyes widened upon my entry. "I know all of you must have witnessed the things Anabelle and Jayce are capable of doing. We cannot let this continue." My tone was firm, gaining confidence with every word. One of the maids stepped forward. Anabella was called Clara. "But what can we do, Blair? They are too powerful. Anabelle has everyone under her thumb." I shook my head. "This-people may be no match for Anabelle in terms of strength, but we are very much match for her in anger-anger, which united, will hold us together as a force threatening for justice. We deserve much more than the dirt." Felicity, the bold maid, nodded in agreement. "I have seen Anabelle's cruelty firsthand-knows-how much she enjoys our suffering. We cannot allow her to be the victor.” As the maids began to murmur in agreement, so my hopes began to soar. "We will start small. We will gather intelligence for vulnerabilities in their plans. We will be their shadows, observing and waiting for the perfect moment to strike." In the days that followed, we went about our work with the utmost diligence. Reports reached us that Jayce and Anabelle were preparing a grand wedding to substantiate their claim toward ruling the pack. I was sure this was going to be a crucial point that I could use against them. With the wedding fast approaching, I became even more active in my attempts to forge a strong connection with Angel. "We need to prepare for the confrontation," I said, the tension evident in my tone. "I need your strength." "You are not alone, Blair. I will guide you. Trust in yourself, and the pack will see the truth," Angel promised, and glory came upon her. Day by day, my strength renewed, driving my building need for vengeance, charged by the memories of past acts of intolerable pain once deemed a burden to my soul. Raven wolf did spirit training every night to strengthen their bond with Angel, power surging within. On the eve of the wedding, I summoned my loyalists downstairs into the kitchen. "We shall disrupt their celebration tomorrow!" I announced them with fury. "We shall reveal their true selves.” In faint glances exchanged between the two maids was sheer anticipation and excitement. "What do you have in mind?" Clara asked a bit excitedly. "We're going to stir things up," I said, my eyes sparkling with teeth-gritting resolve. "We will share the truth while they are still busy wrapped up in their false happiness! Jayce and Anabelle think they can humiliate me whenever they want, but tomorrow, I'll show them just how strong we are together." As calmness descended, night fell. The plan was made, and the weight of determination began to settle on me. I was meant to go back in time to confront the past and then walk into the glowing future. Bright and sunny, yet perfect for my rebellion. The wedding day dawned, and I wore understated attire in the bustle of the packhouse, with activity at its zenith; my heart was hammering like mad. Laughter and music saturated the air among the arriving guests, and I remained resolute. With glances exchanged with my accomplices, we all knew their rôles in the plans. We would wait for when Jayce and Anabelle would take center stage-and then were on the attack. The ceremony began, and the tension I felt inside was excruciating. I kept my eyes on Jayce; tall and proud, while Anabelle turned like she owned the world in her beautiful gown, basking in the flashlights. That view only fanned the flames of my will to do so. Then the officiant began, and I could feel Angel's rise within me. "Now, Blair," urged the spirit. "Show them your power.” Deep breath...I moved in for the kill. "Stop!" Gritting my teeth, I screamed - shattering the happy ambience like glass underfoot. The music ceased, and there I stood in front of glares of shock. Amusement was replaced by fury on Jayce's features as his eyes directed at me. "What do you think you're doing, Blair?" His voice was thick with loathing. "Let me tell you the truth," my heart pounded. "You have manipulated everyone, and it's time for the pack to see your true ugly self." Anabelle strode toward me, her eyes burning with fury. "Do you think you can ruin this day? You're just some pathetic maid!" I stood my ground with a smile, garnering my strength from those behind me. "A maid, yes, but not a powerless one. I will no longer be your victim!" An atmosphere cracking with tension almost vibrated as light whispers travelled amongst guests; curiosity wrestled with confusion. I could feel their eyes boring down into me, and that was where I understood that I was on the way to get my power back. This chapter ends on me standing strong with my head up, ready to face my ex-husband and sister for their betrayal and reclaim what's rightfully mine. The atmosphere is thick with tension and uncertainty, and I can barely wait to see how this confrontation unfolds.Blair POV The thick silence following felt heavy with doubt and tension. Eyes were fixed on me, anticipation racing in the room as Jayce and Anabelle’s expressions morphed from shock into uncontained anger. I could see their minds beginning to spin, knowing all too well their little act was about to fall out of the meticulously organized scheme."Blair," Jayce practically growled, stepping forward with utter ferocity in his eyes, reclaiming what little control he had left. "You really have no idea what you're doing. This is not your place."I took another breath while I felt that current of strength flowing within me because of Angel. "You're wrong, Jayce. This is exactly my place. I will not sit by and let you and Anabelle lie to this pack and sweep everything I have fought for under the rug."Anabelle mocked me with a sneer. "You really think anybody is going to believe you? You are nothing but a discarded Luna, a pathetic maid now, and you think you can disrupt our wedding??? How
Blair POVThe air had ripples of tension and electricity that stood as a contrast against the gathering’s somber atmosphere. I stood at the center of that gathering, surrounded by the most loyal members of my pack. Their anticipation weighed heavy upon me but somehow added fuel to my flame. I was no longer the weakling Luna they had spurned; I was a wolf ready to reclaim her power. The sight of all those faces filled me with determination. I had been hunched over for too long. With the knowledge of their support, I was fortified. And these were the ones who had seen Jayce and Anabelle display the greatest cruelty one could witness. Hope surged through me. I was going to fight back."Listen to me!" I shouted over the murmurs that had pervaded the air. "It is not just about me today; it is about all of us. We have suffered long enough at the hands of Jayce and Anabelle. Their game of manipulation and deceit ends today!"More murmurs ran through the crowd, and I saw the fire igniting in

Blair’s POVThere was a very strong smell of hospital medication that came into my nose. It was irritating. I shook my head to chase the scent away but it still came. Due to frustration, I opened my eyes.I saw myself as I was looking at walls that were not familiar to the ones I was used to. “Where could this be?” I asked myself as I looked around. Something was making noise. I looked around and saw a drip on me. I was attached to it with a life support machine.“I’m in the hospital,” I slowly said as I forced myself to sit up. Then the doctor opened the door and came in. “Blair, thank goodness you are awake. I hope you are now better?” She asked and walked up to me. “Doctor Keri,” I said to her, happy to recognise her. She was our pack's doctor. She was the one that tested and told me about my pregnancy. She placed the back of her hand over my neck and asked me to lay down and sleep for sometime.“You fell very hard and lost a lot of blood in the process. You’ll be okay, you need
Blair's Point Of ViewAs I shook, I stepped away from the white eyed creature, scared that it may do something very evil I was not prepared for. It was a woman and she looked very beautiful. “So you’re still not smart to see? You can not guess? I have been with you since forever, sent from the moon goddess and you’re asking me such questions.”I stopped when I heard what the white wolf said. Its eyes were still shining as it shook its head at the foolish question I asked. “Or did the trauma of losing the one thing you really love affect you this much?”“The thing I love?” I asked as I said in shock at the creature close to me in awe.Its smile became wide as it waited patiently for me to respond. The floor had brown tiles and he asked me to make sure it was white. I was exhausted. As I cleaned I heard people talking and laughing from behind.
