"Alpha! Alpha! Alpha! Alpha!" Marcus screamed, shoving me against the small table which was beside me, as he sprinted into the small hall like he was being chased out of life by a haunting ghost coming for vengeance.

No one was there to answer him. Or, was he expecting the alpha who just went in to enjoy himself to forfeit that for his stupid call? I'm sure he's busy with that girl right now. But why am I not feeling hurt about that? No, I must tell myself the truth right now, I am. Yes, I am. I so am, and I feel like strangling that bitch to death. Unfortunately, I can't.

Marcus kept screaming as he continued racing into the house, probably looking for the alpha. His voice could be heard from every corner of the house. I struggled to get back on my feet, stood behind the door and immediately, someone ran in, slamming the door against me. My face flushed, my nose burned from the striking pain.

I hustled the pain away and cocked my head; I couldn't afford missing a moment of what wa

I felt something on my skin, I shoved it off, rolled over to another position, I couldn't fathom what it was. I ignored, not minding anything. Then a shrill sound like the squeaking of a mouse in a cupboard broke the silence of the room, disrupting the stability of my mind at peace. I shrieked, trying to close my ears. My eyes still shut, but shrinked tighter in split seconds."What?!" I hopped, sat with one side of my butt, turned to glare at where I was lying, but I couldn't see anything. I wiped my eyes with the back of my palm, vigorously, thinking I was blind, I still couldn't see anything. I swept my hands- my palm over my seat, then I realized it was a mini bed. "What. The. Hell..!" I screeched, but softly. I wasn't blind, that was the fault of the room. It was completely black. I screamed, trying to call for help, but the sound of a fallen steel blasted me instead. I leaped from my bed. No, not mine, the bed, and planted my gaze in the dark room, struggling to see through t

"What have you done..? Why did you do that? But I wasn't seeking for your help, so why did you kill her? I only wanted to drill her slowly, and watch her pay for bringing me here! I didn't mean for you or anyone else to kill her!" Panic drowned me as I watched life slowly sniffed out of Lianna. She didn't deserve to die like that, even though her plan was to keep me hidden for God knew how long. No, I think her plan was to kill me, and no one would've ever had the slightest idea about what happened to me. Thank the moon goddess for bringing Hillarial to my rescue. He was an angel. My Angel! He couldn't have been. Rivalry has never made anyone an Angel. A rival, that's what he was. And a rival would always remain a rival! The terror in my heart couldn't be measured at this juncture, I needed to get the fucking hell out of that god-damned forest. That woods, spending one more night in there wasn't going to be funny. I quickly took a glance around, and the moon suddenly turned, shim

"Oh My God..!!!" "Oh my God!" I winced, for I wasn't expecting such. Her laughter alone could tear one into shreds. I couldn't understand anything, my eyes widened as I gave her a swift gaze, my face contorted as I turned my face away, looking to my left. Then I realized I was sunk to the ground. Ariana pulled the seat away. Wondering her reason for doing that, I couldn't fantasize anything. My mood changed as I placed my hand on the ground, and tried lifting myself up. "Come on Irisha, it's not like that.." her words meant nothing to me at that time for I felt betrayed by her kind gestures earlier. But I wasn't really shocked; what more do you expect from an arch enemy? "Why did you do that?" I questioned, looking so frustrated. The pain in my ass almost divided it into portions, as it penetrated deeply into me. "I'm so sorry, Irisha, it wasn't what you think okay. I was only trying to-" I interrupted. "Trying to do what? At the expense of-" my words drowned in my throat

A soft tap came upon my skin, with groggy eyes, I slowly turned. "Huh,?" I jerked, thinking he had come to take me back to the slave quarters. The shock in my eyes was depicting mixed feelings. Terror, and joy. I starred at him, and in split seconds, my gaze went down to the hard floor. My entire face became so emotionless. That feeling was for real. For real I mean. Rigorously. His hand went behind him, maybe to get more comfortable or something. So I thought. Suddenly, he pulled out a red G-string, waved it over my head, my eyes followed everywhere it went. He lowered it before me, and waved it across my face, consistently. Nonstop. My vision wasn't that clear enough, but I could still see him and his actions. Alpha Grey!"Alpha Grey?" I flinched, muttering under my breath, as I thought it was one of his guards. His blue eyes scanned me, making me lose my balance. As if I was stable initially. How can a slave in an Alpha's domain, in his cousin's room, be so comfortable staying t

The sounds of footsteps transmitted into my eardrums, I paused, seeming like one eavesdropping."I asked again, and this is going to be the last time, what in the fucking hell's name are you doing there? Trying to escape.. right…?"I waved my head. That voice, I heard it clearly. I could recognise it. It was Jasminna's. My eyes shut open, but I couldn't see him clearly. Then I realized I didn't slump like I thought. I was sound again. Though weak."I knew you were going to do this! So you actually thought you would be able to escape from here and get me into trouble, right? Hell no.. you dare not! In fact, you can not!" The emptiness of the alleyway reverberated his voice as the air carried it across the entire place. I just couldn't imagine where my sudden strength came from. It was just like Jasminna transferred to me some energy as he held my hand, pulled me up, with full force, like one who just had some bottles of fresh fruit boost. I kept grinding my teeth as I stiffened from t

The breeze blew over my face, bringing to me the scent of him. It wasn't close to anything strong, it was mild, though smelt so harsh to my nostrils. Awful. I nudged my index finger against my nose, hoping to get a relief, yet, nothing. Now I became a little bit scared. Two different persons have acted strangely towards me in just one day, what more should I expect from them next? I glanced around, jacked the door open, went inside and slammed it shut. I couldn't place any lock because there was none. ~~~~I was sitting alone, on the bed, my hands placed beside me as loneliness drowned me as I scanned around the room. Everything was placed in different positions in accordance with how a two bedroom apartment should be arranged, but it was just a single room in different sections, with its bedroom demarcated with a very thin board from the other section. My thoughts raced, taking me back to my view some couple of minutes ago. My eyes fell to the ground as a particular thing struck m

It was him!I saw him, it was him!The one I wasn't even expecting to see! The least person on my mind. "Stop scaring me.. stop..!!!" I cried out, struggling in his grip as he pinned me to himself with both arms, feeling he shouldn't be doing that to me. And why should he stop when all he wanted was to have me? Or, am I wrong? His hairy chest dashing me some comfort, yet it felt kind of discomforting to my skin as I struggled. I tried to swivel, yet I couldn't. I tried harder and harder until I managed to whirl. "You…?" I exclaimed, trying to point a finger at him.His eyes blazed as they provided for me a great, bright light which shone like the sun all over the dark woods, blazing hot. So I thought, but I was wrong. "Let me go…!" I yelled, my claws springing out like a tender, growing winter plant from its seed bed. "And give me just one reason why I should let you go?" He questioned, planting a kiss on my neck, as his head pushed mine to one side. I retreated, shifting my hea

My anger suddenly doused down, a bit, as I saw Alpha Grey walk in. I looked up to the sky- the ceiling, "oh moon goddess, thank you so much for being there for me; even though I think it's just this once." I appreciated, and let out a sigh of relief. Back again to Alpha Grey, the shock in my eyes said it all, as he stared brazenly into my eyes. I studied him with a predator’s unwavering attention; "this isn't going to be funny…" I concluded as he walked closer to me, with fury blazing and oozing from all over him. I shook off the dead grasses lying helplessly on my cotton gown, plastering most part of it. Some stubborn one refused to fall off, so I let them be. Sprinting out of the compound, Deryl called out to me, "Irisha…!" I halted abruptly, and wheeled my head back to them. "This way, not that way!" He gestured, showing me the correct way to follow. I quickly retraced my steps, running through the right path, my mind raced. "Why would I even be bothered about him when I know he doesn't even care about me like a mate is supposed to do to the other? Am I not being stupid here?" I questioned the air as I continued in my dishonored gown, sullied with lots of mud as I looked down on me. "Yes Irisha, you're only acting like a fool here!" Someone said and I stopped briskly, looked around but saw no one. Maybe that was my thought. I confirmed, and continued. I was actually right, it was my thought playing a fast one on me there. I felt a force directing me to where I knew not. I kept moving-

Words are weighty, but some are far weightier than others. My heart leaped into my throat, hammering right in my chest, pounding so hard as terror stabbed my heart. Her words felt like thunder down me as they were uttered, my defiant words marked my fear as my feet became numb, and suddenly wobbled like I just stepped on a heap of jellies as I walked. "Hang on Irisha…!" I could hear someone say, probably one of them, either Irialah or Lavel, but I just couldn't detect whose it was. I saw myself going down each passing second, not that I was sick or losing my balance, but I was actually experiencing it. My fears have finally come to play in my life now, every spoken word of prophecy is gradually and automatically coming to pass now as it was said, even by the old-young witch of the cauldron and fire furnace. Still trying to get back my balance, and abruptly, I began to hear swift and sudden movements, echoing from behind us. I struggled to twist my head, glared ahead and then I not

I blinked, trying to process the words as they escaped from their roots, down to my being. I blinked again, like once, twice, thrice; "his name is Suavil..?" My mind wondered where he's from as I stared into his being. "Confused..?" His cold words drew me back to my view before me like a map being sketched on a piece of cardboard paper on a drawing board. He creased his forehead like he was upset, maybe he was. It was when he smiled, letting out those soft chuckles from his lips, I realized he actually wasn't. "I'm from South-" he paused. His lips partly opened, as he stared in one direction. I waved my hand across his face, and he slid it away, but gently. "Look, Irisha; he is here!" Suavil mentioned, motioning his head ahead forward, in the empty air.I quickly looked in the direction, Alpha Grey..? Gosh! I adjusted myself immediately, looking at my toes, as I watched them wriggling. An instilled silence suddenly erupted from nowhere, and even the drop of a pin on the ground c

The sudden silence that engulfed the woods drenched me as I stared into Naellin's palm. Just a few chirpings of birds and insects could be heard, not even the rustling of dead leaves as others walked upon them, made any sound. My eyes trailed up to his face, that funny smiles were something I just couldn't comprehend. My eyes back again to his hand, "You can call me Irisha." I said, accepting his handshake. "I can..? Like, that's not really it?" He questioned and I wondered his reasons for asking such. "That's my name; Irisha." I confirmed, with a nod. Double nods. I glanced around, for I wasn't prepared to accept any whip from any fucking, goddamn guard, I was sure we were still in the crowd. "Hi," Naellin said. Wondering why he said 'hi' again, I turned and he wasn't the one. It was Irialah. "Oh, Irialah.. Good to see you looking cool today!" I said as I tugged her into a warm hug.She smiled."Naellin, meet Irialah.." I said, facing Naellin. "Irialah, Naellin." I introduced

The hallway to Ariana's room seemed dead in silence and deserted; with no noise of traffic; you can literally hear the chirping of the birds from outside and the rustling of leaves as they released their rhythmic voices and sounds transmitted through the heavy waves. So soothing to the ears…I paused and looked ahead, far deep into the place, my mind racing to different angles, not knowing what or where exactly to do or go. I tried to listen to my thoughts, yet nothing was forthcoming. Everything seemed blank, no matter how hard I tried to eavesdrop. I just couldn't mindlink her."What if someone catches me here, what would I say I'm doing here?" My heart leaped in terror instantly, I took a deep breath, took a step- two steps, glanced around, there was no one. "Well.." I shrugged and continued. Few seconds into my walk, a shrill cry pierced my eardrums, and I screeched, contouring my face. "What the fuck are you doing there? Would you get back into your quarter?!" Someone blasted f

Still soothing my aching head, looking around for help, I felt so weak and I had to sit. "Do you think Alpha Grey would tolerate any form of delay, should you stay back here for the next two minutes?" Someone spoke from behind me, and I quickly turned to see who it was. A strange face. "It's me, Irisha," she tapped me, "Irialah." She spoke. I looked back at her again, she was thesame middle aged woman. "Never knew your name was Irialah, sounds so much like mine." " Yeah.. and that's one that attracted you to me, for you bear thesame name as my daughter.""Your daughter..?" I became more interested in her story. "Please can you tell me more about this daughter of yours?" I held her hands. "Oh sorry, it skipped my mind.. I'm so sorry…." I quickly withdrew my hands, seeing that I just got hers stained with my blood. "No no no no… you've done nothing wrong, Irisha.." she said hurriedly, maintaining a stable gaze into my being, as she tried to wipe her hands on her dresa. "Please, d

Ariana..?Oh, moon goddess! My eyes loomed, as I saw it was Ariana. "Why would you ever think of doing such a thing?" I asked, giving her a small but a bit hard slap on her left arm. She screeched. "I thought it was a rogue initially." She bursted into a heavy laughter, cracking out her ribs as her pretty looking set of teeth flashed into my eyes like the sudden flash of sunlight in the dark. I never knew she'd got such a good sense of humour. I hissed. It took her some time to get a hold of herself, as she fell on the bed, sprung up again on her feet, and back to the bed, concurrently, clapping her hands against the bed and on her thighs. "You're such a funny girl! Imagine how you were so prepared to strike back!" She cackled again. I couldn't say anything any further, I just stood by, watching as she displayed. And,"Why did you have to shift into your wolf? Just to scare me I guess!" My words cracked out of my throat. I looked down to my feet as I felt a rope like stuff circli

He twirled his hand on my palm, my waist, and then he cleared his throat, snapping me back into my world of reality."What were you doing in that bowl, or.. is that how you take your bath?" He furrowed his eyebrows. His usually husky voice turned low, and soft.I didn't know what to give to him as an answer. Just my glare wasn't enough. "Do you know you don't just have to sit in here without looking outside of your environment, especially once it's getting dark out there like this?"
