Rebecca's POV

"Luke!" Luke's worried cry echoed out.

Then, Luke and I stood frozen as we saw that nothing was happening in the room. There was also no one there except Lucas. But, my little boy looked so scared. He was crying while closing his eyes.

I rushed over to Lucas and hugged him tightly. I kissed the top of my only child's head and rubbed his back to calm him down.

Meanwhile, Luke sat on his knees near me and Luke.

After a while, Luke's crying subsided.

"What's wrong, sweetheart? What scared you?" I didn't loosen his embrace.

The remnants of Lukas's sobs remained. "There's... someone who wants to hurt Daddy."

Luke and I looked at each other. We gave each other an uncomprehending look. Then, we also shook our heads slowly at the same time.

"Oh, yeah? Luke saw that?" I tried to look like I believed what Luke said.

Without shifting from his position, my little boy nodded very confidently.

Luke ruffled his hair affectionately. "Daddy understands Lukas's fear. But, L
