Luke's POV

Richard and I ran at a speed that only wolves could run under the moonlight. The forest that night looked even more sinister than usual. Tree branches reached out like claws ready to rip apart anyone who dared to pass by, while dark shadows danced between the trees as if following us. The cold night air was suffocating my lungs, but what was choking me was the worry that was stabbing at my heart.

Our hands were stained with the blood of the enemies who dared to attack, but there was no sense of victory in them. Feelings of emptiness, anger, and panic mixed. Rebecca, my Luna, was gone.
