Chapter 24

24. Rebecca's POV

The sun had just entered the horizon in the western horizon leaving an orange-red color in the sky.

The sky seemed to be burning.

Lucas and I had just arrived at the beach on the west side of the Blackmoon pack's palace.

The sky wasn't completely dark yet, but the Blackmoon pack had already filled the beach to celebrate their holy festival.

I took a slightly spacious spot in one corner of the beach. From here, a large bonfire could be seen smoldering.

Elsewhere, a large table was set up to serve the specialties of this holy festival for werewolves. Wild fruits, special fermented drinks, and some grilled, cooked meat filled the table.

Meanwhile, on the other side, fresh meat had just been put on the grill. Several men in charge of the food were twirling the wood of the meat roaster.

"Huh?!" An exclamation of amazement came out of Lucas's small mouth.

I turned my head and saw this innocent boy pointing upwards in amazement.
