Streaks of sunlight peeked their way through the curtains, I groaned. Why does the sun have to be so bright in the mornings? I asked myself covering my eyes. I went to get outta bed, but I was pinned down. Reign, our mate loves us. He...they, will protect us, all you have to do is open up to him and trust him. I heard Nera whisper in the back of my mind.

Oh shittles! Who’s lying next to me? I looked over to my side, cheese n crackers!! It’s Damien! He had one arm under my head and the other one draped across my waist. Why is he in my bed? I lifted the blanket, OH THANK GOODNESS, I still have my clothes on and he’s in shorts. I wiggled as best I could do to get up. I had to go pee. Every time I moved to get up his grip got tighter. I leaned back and looked at him. He’s so gorgeous, has a strong jaw line, his skin has the most perfect tan. His hair was a mess, but it is so soft. I moved some of his matted hair from his forehead.
