Fiona

Hours ago, the safety of my unborn child and I had been assured by the white hounds; the eerily calm and gentle wolves had been kind to me all along. Now I’m stuck in the den of these vicious killers.

I couldn’t help myself from the thoughts of the white hound elder being a part of my capture. She was the one who instructed me to save my pack from danger, to save my alpha, Lucian.

“The elder isn’t a part of this.” Mera interrupted my wandering thoughts and for a while I had forgotten that we shared the same mind.

“How do we know if that is true?” I asked through mindlink as I watched the young wolf fiddle with a piece of rock.

“Everything she told you about your mother is true, I was once your mother’s wolf. She chose me to protect you for a reason.” She continued, sitting confidently like we are not about to be thrown into a deadly fight.

“To protect me? I really doubt that,” I said, playing with my fingers.

Mera raised her head in curiosity. “Why would you say that? You

FionaThe crowds exclaimed in unison and it matched the way I was feeling. What the hell was going on? I couldn’t give myself answers as I stared at the two men bowing at my feet like I was some kind of idol. “I……I don’t….” The words that came out of my mouth turned out to be complete gibberish. One of them lifted his head up and I just hoped that he would laugh at me and claim they were only messing with me, but that didn’t happen. “Luna, you really don’t remember us?” He asked in a whisper, looking a little bit disappointed. His second friend also looked up at me and mirrored his expression. It can’t be. He had just referred to me as Luna. Nobody here knows my title nor did they know where I was from. But these men knew me, then definitely they knew where I was from. At that moment, it became obvious to me that they were from silver fang, obviously warriors sent into battle. But how come I can’t recognize them? It felt strange as I recognized almost everyone in silver fang. “D

FionaMy heart leaped with overwhelming joy as I raced through the Eastern hall of the pack house that led to Lucian’s office. I couldn’t wait to deliver the news to him. After my many failed attempts to conceive his heir, I was finally pregnant. When I reached the door, the two warriors guarding his office stopped me as I tried to enter. Their shoulders touched as they formed a wall of obstruction between me and the door. ‘Was this a joke?’ I thought as I searched their eyes for answers but their eyes avoided mine. “What is the meaning of this?” I asked, folding my arms. “I apologize, Luna, but the alpha is busy and he doesn’t want to see anyone now.” The redhead warrior answered with his eyes still looking up. “What is that supposed to mean? Do I look like anyone to you? He might be busy for many reasons but not for me. I have important news to deliver. Now, step aside!” I ordered, but the two men didn’t move a muscle and their disobedience was starting to piss me off. Few day

Fiona“Lies!” Nadia’s voice cuts through the silence once again as she takes a few steps closer to us. “She is lying Lucian and you know it too. She could not carry your seed because her wolf is weak!” She said in one breath as she placed her horrid hand on Lucian’s shoulder. Something about her pissed me off and I don’t know if it was because of the way she called his name or because she knew that secret about me. How in the goddess name did she know? Did Lucian….?“Who told you about me?” I found myself asking Nadia as my brows curled into a frown while Lucian still processed my news to him. Nadia chuckled“Oh, my sweet Lucian here told me everything about you, his weak Luna, whilst he tried to fit his massive cock inside me and fill me with his seeds. And God I enjoyed every bit of it.” Nadia bit her lips seductively as she traced an invisible line with her finger on Lucian’s back. “Poor Luna, you haven’t even stopped to think of why he hasn’t marked you. He obviously doesn’t w

FionaI was shoved hard to the unforgiving ground of the dungeon, the hash impact knocking the breath out of my lungs. I gasped loudly, due to the fall’s impact and the sudden disrespect from the warriors towards me. “This is where a mutt like you belongs.” A bald warrior snarled before swinging the heavy metal gates shut. A loud thud echoing throughout the empty room. Carefully, I hissed as I peeled myself off from the cold slick ground, coming up in a kneeling position. The air in the oppressive dungeon was thick with iron and humidity. My body felt heavy and beads of sweat rolled down my forehead. The injuries that I sustained still sent small jolts of pain around my body. However, the bleeding had subsided. Mera was healing me but the process was rather slow due to the effects of the silver. The stench filled excuse for a dress that they donned me hanged sloppily on my shoulders. Faint crusts of dirt and sweat coated my slightly bruised skin, making me feel filthy. I register

FionaI kept pleading to my wolf halfway to a devastating fall but she didn’t listen to me and I couldn’t shift. The earth's gravity pulled me to my death faster than I had imagined as I fell facing the sky, the moon’s reflection dancing in my eyes and I wondered if it would be my last view. My back lurched with the terrifying sense of freefall before my body landed with a sickening thud into what seemed like a huge pile of dirt. Sharp pain coursed through my body like a bolt of lightning and I felt my wrist snap, my arm twisted underneath me. I couldn’t help myself but let an agonizing scream rip itself from my lips. For a moment, I laid there, stunned. The sky spinning above me as my ears rang in high pitch. My wrist throbbed and pulsates while I tried to gather my thoughts. “The mutt has escaped!” I heard someone shout from a small window up above me. The bald warrior. “Find her!” He yelled again before disappearing from the window. Now I remembered the situation I was in. I h

FionaThe thick filthy cloth that covered my head made it hard for me to decipher the height of what was going on. All I could only hear was the sound of the unknown creature dashing in and out of the trees around us. The creature’s technique was familiar. If there is one person that I know, who loves stalking his prey inside the trees, it could be my brother, Orion. What if it was him? Maybe he had survived and was now here to rescue me. I could only let the seed of hope start to grow within me. Suddenly, my captors went quiet, and I could hear the silent clanging of metal and the stretching sound of what seemed to be elastic. The weakening smell of silver filled my nostrils. One of them was holding a silver tip arrow, obviously aimed at the creature in the tree, the creature that might turn out to be my brother The rogue who was to shoot was standing close to me because I could hear his heartbeat beating rapidly as he pulled at his bow. I needed to do something. It might re

FionaIt has been an awfully long night for me. The cold wind that whipped through the forest made me shiver and grit my teeth. My legs were gradually growing weak, but I was determined to escape from my captors before the light of day. I tripped on a small rock and fell to the ground. The rogue picked me up instantly and shoved me forward. I purposely tripped and fell again, this time I pushed one of the rogues, causing him to fall with me. One of them picked me up and shoved my back against a tree, knocking a harsh breath from my lungs. “What the hell is wrong with you? What the fuck are you playing at?” He held a silver tipped dagger to my throat, the metal hissing at my skin as soon as it made contact. “I can’t see,I can’t see where I’m going, please don’t kill me.” I pleaded, but the rogue didn’t bulge. “You will move whenever I tell you to, I don’t care how many times you fall.” The rogue hissed. “Take off her blind!” Their leader commanded. FionaThe earth blurred beneath my feet as I dashed through the woods, weaving in and out of towering trees. Mera guiding us with her super vision through the darkness of the night. As the howls and whimpers grew louder, I couldn’t help but ponder on the words of the elder wolf. She had told me earlier today that I had a long way to go with using my powers, but tonight her words were different. Was she right or was she wrong? I couldn’t bring myself to understand. I also couldn’t ignore the tiny feeling within me that she was deceiving me. However, I have to confess for myself if this was Lucian or not. Growls of other wolves could also be heard alongside the first wolf’s cry, it was likely being attacked. Lucian is strong, why would he be attacked? Or could it be that he was betrayed by his warriors?I couldn’t stop asking myself a series of questions as Mera covered the earth with twice as much pace. As I neared a clearing, I shifted back to my human self and hid behind a tree.

FionaThe elder whistled for one of the other wolves to come and take care of the young woman whose name seems to be kaelina, from my hands. Her words still hung in the air, heavy with a truth I wasn’t prepared to face. My hands trembled as I looked from her to Kaelina, then back to the elder.“What do you mean?” I asked, my voice barely above a whisper. “My mother… She died when I was born. I don’t understand.”The elder’s expression softened, her piercing eyes studying me with a mix of sadness and admiration. “Your mother was one of us, Fiona. A rare wolf, blessed with a connection to the Moon Goddess. Her spirit was strong, her heart even stronger. But when she was forced to leave our pack, she carried a heavy burden: you.”The weight of her words settled over me, and I felt the faint stirrings of something deep within my soul. It was as if the very essence of my wolf was responding to the elder’s revelation.“She prayed to the Moon Goddess as she gave her final breath,” the elde

She led me back into the forest. “In here,” she said, pointing towards an ancient looking tree trunk. “No, I won’t let them hurt your pack for something I did.” I said, backing away from the trunk. “If they find you, then they will hurt us for harboring their prisoners. I know you want to help, but this is the only way you can help. Hide!” She explained. “Listen to her,” Mera insisted. “But their blood would be on my hands if i hide.” I replied through mindlink. “Their
