'Get back to where you belong'

As the dust settles we notice that we've been surrounded by 

'Wolves?' jessica and I speak simultaneously confused. We look for a way out as the last thing we wanted was to die in a foreign universe and a prey to wolves. 

'Stop. We need to talk' We hear it again. We look around for a human but find no-one.

'Who is talking?' I ask finally. A roar from one of the wolf drags our eyes to it. It is larger than the rest, with brown fur and grey eyes. It must be the alpha.

'Did you find me now?' We hear again.

'So you're communicating through our mind?' jessica asks mesmerised.

'We wolves can talk to anyone we chose on our land through mind communication' explains the alpha.

'Why do you want to speak to us?' I ask puzzled.

'I don't like you both here, so i'm heard to warn you to return' 

'And why is that?' asks Jessica.

'You two don't belong to our world, and things that don't belong here are not welcomed.' 

'How do you know we aren't from here?' I ask curious.

The wolf signs and answers reluctantly 'People of our land cannot enter the roots. They know they shouldn't come this way. The only one's attracted to this path is those who are not from our world just like the two of you.'

'We didn't choose to come here. We accidentally touched a portal' I try to explain.

'It doesn't matter now. Both of you need to fulfil your purpose and leave this place right away.' speaks the alpha in a fury.

'What's our purpose?' Jessica asks.

'It's for you to find.' answers the alpha.

'Can you give us a clue maybe' She insists.

'I don't like to repeat myself and I can't help you in this matter. You need to find your purpose, finish it and leave right away.' 

'How do we portal back?' I ask.

'You'll find it when the time arrives' 

'Can we meet you again here?' I question again.

'Certainly not. Not many people here as as welcoming as the wolves.' He turns his head to the right and we look in that direction; many other wild animals look at us like we're nothing but prey. Like just a second would be enough for them to tear us apart.

'Why are you helping us?' jessica asks. 

'As I said, I don't like you'll here' says the alpha and continues 'Now leave and never return to this forest' 

'Where should we start looking?' I ask.

'Destiny is bound to open paths for those who care to see' saying so the alpha turns to leave and the remaining pack follows, while the animals on the right corner seem to be eager for a chance. 

'Lets go now' urges Jessica and pulls me along. We walk hoping its the right way and reach the tangled roots again, but this time the roots open up and make a path for us to pass through easily. 

'This place is definitely weird' Says Jessica as we leave. 

'Definitely and we need to leave as soon as possible' I insist 'Where do we start looking?' 

'I'm so unsure about that but I need to have a good lunch prior to that. Let's go back to the residence' 

'Fine' I say and stomp my step along.

We arrive at the residence and get questioned if we have applied for the cards yet by Mr. White and we reply that we'll do that tonight and ask about the location to apply for the cards. 

We have a good lunch prepared by the residents themselves and go to our room to ponder for a while. In a few minutes we hear a knock on the door. 

'Can I enter, my little ones?' asks grandma Liza. 

'Sura Grandma. Please come in.' I say as Jessica opens the door. 

'I noticed that the two of you were troubled back in the lunch table. May I take the liberty to ask what's troubling the two of you.' 

'Its nothing to worry about. We are perfectly fine grandma' I say but Jessica interrupts.

'We're in trouble grandma Liza and we don't know whome to turn to for help.' 

'If that's the case, the princess will definitely hear you out. You need to talk to her.' 

'Can anyone talk to the princess?' I ask.

'Yes definitely, my little one. Alright now. Its time for my pills, i'd better get back downstairs' 

'Thank you Grandma. please take care on your way back' we say. 

'Let's go to the palace' Jessica and I say and nod giggling at our weird timing.

'Lets have an early dinner and leave in an hour' suggests Jessica. 

'Perfect' I say and grab a chocolate bar and start consuming. 

Its quarter past 5 when we head downstairs for an early dinner and enjoy the meal. Shortly later, we ask for the route to the palace and leave the residence. We ask Mr. White to book us a cab and hop into it and get ready for a 3 hour travel to the palace. The ride was filled with classic songs and occasional location information by the chauffer (driver). Jessica and I resembled dogs on their first car ride, we stick our heads out and looked at the wonderful resemblance between the two planets; Earth and Bazoda. 

'Its already past 8, so I can't drive you any further.' says the chauffer as he slows the car. ' Just walk down the road and you will see the palace. Its hard to miss' 

'Why can't you take us?' asks Jessica.

'The cabs here work only till 7 in the evening and i'm already working late as I took up your booking' he continues. 

'Alright, alright. Thank you Sir for the ride' I say and pull Jessica to get off the car along with me. 

'What's his problem?' She asks. 

'We can't pick up a fight every now and then with strangers' I warn her and she nods. We walk down the road hoping to see a magnificent castle with guards on foot but get disappointed on the sight. 

'It looks deserted' I say

jessica agrees questioning 'Is this the right place?' 

'I don't see another castle. This must be it' 

'Let's walk in and enquire' 

We open the gates with a weird screech and walk in, there is hardly a caretaker or any human being. Not a single light is turned on and we almost stamp a cat's talk in the dark. 

'This place is creepy. Maybe we can come again tomorrow morning and get things clarified' Jessica concludes and I agree. We turn around to leave and walk to the gates when a white cat runs across us and we gasp for a second. 

The next thing I notice is 'When did we enter the castle?' I ask and look at Jessica who is equally confused. 'I'm so not sure' she answers.

'I see you little ones wanted to meet me. So I did you kiddos a favour' says a voice walking behind us. 

'Are you the princess?' I ask.

'Of course I am' says the voice. 

'Why don't you come in front of us' Jessica questions.

'Oh curious little souls, you're journey must be a tiring one. I presume you already met the wolves who warned you to leave'

'How do you know that princess?' I ask

'There isn't a thing i'm unaware of.' 

'How?' asks jessica again

'The citizens here would not come to the castle at night and you two came up bravely also I could hypnotize you too that is impossible on our citizens.' explains the princess.

'Why did you hypnotize us?' jessica questions again

'You both were hesitating and I just wanted to help. 

'How can you help us?' I ask

'You want to return, isn't it?' 

'Yes, we do!' I say

'Thats an easy pie, just give me a few drops of your blood and you can portal back tomorrow night' 

'The wolves mentioned about a purpose' enquires Jessica.

'Don't talk about them to me. They prefer to interfere in human decisions like trash. They need to know their place' 

'Is it really possible to open a portal with blood alone?' 

'Definitely, the blood of two sisters is really powerful.' Says the princess and hands us a syringe.

'I don't know how to withdraw blood' says jessica. 

'I'm sure your sister will help you with it' says the princess with a creepy laugh.

'Yes I can help you with that' I say and poke the syringe into my arm for withdrawal.

'Where did you learn it?' 

'At the orphanage' I say and pick her syringe. Once the withdrawal is done, I hand over the syringes to the princess who has a creepy look on her eyes. 

'You can leave now, come again when the clock strikes twelve night' saying so, the princess leaves.

'But wait...' Jessica interrupts but the princess is nowhere to be seen. 

'That was weird' I say

'Definitely weird' Adds jessica as we leave the palace gates. 'How are we going to return now?' 

'Let's try a cab maybe' I say and we follow the route we arrived. 

We walk to the main street and get a cab for twice the original price. Thought-out the drive, we keep silent, lost deep in thought. We arrive at the residence and in no time fall asleep snoring inspite of what tomorrow might bring forth.
