Author's POV
“Sign it.” She knew they were divorce papers. Aslan was sure she will throw tantrums.
“I will not.” She refused, without wasting a second.
“I am not asking.” Aslan gritted.
“And I am not signing. I don’t want to and I won’t.”
He was getting impatient now. He grabbed her jaw and turned it to face him. “Do I look like I care what you want? But I know that you won’t like it if I throw your drunk husband off this building. Oops, ex-husband. See, it didn’t take him a minute to sign and divorce you. Why are you giving me a hard time? Sign now. And before you open your pretty mouth, remember, his life is only as long as your consent. The sooner you sign, the sooner I will let him go. And we can go home.”
Her eyes wandered to John who had passed out after drinking so much. Her heart was broken. Her husband, her own husband had traded her off on a poker table like she was his cheap watch or just another property. What could she expect from this stranger who was looking too proud to win her?
“I will…”
“Sean.” She watched as Sean, who was a large black man, pulled out a gun and aimed it at John.
“No.” She screamed. She tried to run to him, but the blue-eyed devil held her waist and stopped her.
“See, that’s what I was talking about.” Elena wrrigled out of his hold and fell in the chair.
Aslan handed over the pen and she signed off her name on the divorce papers while her tears wetted the ink.
“Good girl. Let’s go now.” He held her from the elbow and guided her but he felt resistance.
“What about John?” She didn’t trust him.
“What about him?” He was puzzled.
“I don’t trust you.” She saw his face changing and he closed the distance between them.
“Good, I don’t want you to trust me. I just want you to fuck me, hard. And I am a man of commitment. If I say he will be safe, he will be safe.” His crude words were registering in her mind when he dragged her away. She saw that he took another elevator this time. It was a huge one and looked private. He entered a security code and the doors hissed close. As the doors closed, she tried to get out of his grip, but he held her close.
“Whoa, quite a fire, huh?” The more she fought, the more Aslan was getting tight in his pants. Never, ever have a woman fought him. He held her against the wall, and saw her tears. Why the hell is she crying?
“Hey, you, stop crying now, ok?” He pressed his body against hers and she cried even harder.
This man was nothing but muscle. Her small frame shook against his 6’5. He cursed and made her look at him. “I don’t like women crying. They should always look pretty, with their mouth wide open and legs stretched apart. So, you better shut up.”
She sniffled and tried to control her tears. He looked at her angrily and turned away from her. She backed away in the corner as he paced the enclosed space. She noticed it then. He was dressed in a navy blue suit, no tie, two top buttons undone and some very expensive shoes. He was looking even bigger from up close.
He raked his hand through his hair and looked at his prey. She shrunk under his gaze. Good he wanted that.
Elena saw as he phoned someone. “Get the car around. I am leaving.”
When the door opened, Elena found that they were in the lobby and it was not just a casino. It was everything. Her first instinct was to run. When she was about to make a move, he enclosed his strong hand around her wrist. She looked at him to find him staring at her coldly.
He could read her body language. She thinks she can run? Poor woman. He whispered in her ear, “Don’t forget, that the John guy is still in the building. With Sean.”
It made her look down as her last attempt to escape him failed. His car was waiting and Elena saw the logo of Jaguar. It was a big, sleek car. Elena had never ridden in any car like this one.
He saw as her eyes widened. So now she knows that I am loaded. Let’s see how fast she changes into a writhing mess beneath him.
His driver opened the car door for her, but she took a step back. He frowned. “What is it, now?”
“I don’t trust you. I am not getting in.”
“Don’t make a scene and get in.” Aslan spoke while running a hand through his silky hair.
“No…” She spoke and Aslan lost it in the moment. He took her upon his shoulder only to throw her in the back seat. She shifted back as he got in a lightening motion and the door closed. He grabbed her neck. “Stop pulling stunts, or I will fuck you right here and then throw you out.” She started crying again when he left her and sat back in his seat, his legs parted and head rested on the back of the seat. He put a hand on her thigh and she flinched.
He didn’t like that she stiffened by his touch. So, he squeezed her thigh. Fuck, how would they feel like wrapped around him.
Elena sat there like a statue as his hand kept squeezing her.
The car stopped in front of a hotel and by the name, Elena knew that one hour here would be expensive than a man’s life. She followed him inside. He didn’t stop at the reception and went to the elevator. The people bowed and greeted him. Who the hell is he? She thought.
Aslan smiled as she took in everything he wanted to show her. Yes, baby, I am loaded and once you know that, it will take you a second to open your legs for me. He had intentionally brought her here. His father always said,
“Home is for a wife. There are plenty of hotels for mistresses.” Since he was 16, he had a suite in this hotel. He was a partner here now.
People were giving her a questioning look and he saw as she took in everything with wide eyes.
Elena was nervous. If everyone knows him here, then there is no point in trying to run away. She was contemplating what she could do when the elevator chimed. When it stopped, they arrived in an entire new world. There was a large chandelier in the foyer. There was one door at the end of corridor and he headed there, expecting her to follow him. She thought about running back to the elevator and ride down.
“No point, again. It won’t go down until I enter the code.” What? Does this man have four eyes? She started walking behind him. He put in the key into the lock and motioned her to enter. She was shaking as she stepped into the place. There was a dim light in the place and she saw the red lush carpet beneath her feet. She raised her eyes to see a large hall and living area with huge couches, a bar, and a fireplace. She jumped as he slammed the door behind her.
His voice shook her to the very core when he spoke, “Welcome to my world, Elena.” And she felt as if she had entered the devil’s hell.
Author's POVElena didn’t know what to do. She saw as he poured himself a drink. He knew she was looking at him, so he teased. “You want something?”“I would like water, please.” Her voice was shaking.Aslan didn’t like it. Why is she so scared?“I am not your servant. Get one from the fridge behind the bar.” He took a seat on the large sofa and saw as she disappeared to get the bottle.Elena saw the bottles of alcohol. She had never heard their names. They must be expensive, she thought. She found the fridge and grabbed a bottle. She took a sip and placed the bottle back on the counter. Her stomach was in knots. As she came out, he ordered. “Give me your phone.”“Why?”“You ask far too many questions.” He didn’t like the expression on her face.“Why shouldn’t I?” She knew she was treading shallow waters.“Elena, give me your phone.” This time, his eyes had only one emotion, and that was anger. He can do anything to you, Elena. Listen to him. She said to herself and gave her phone to
Elena Elena cried some more on her fate. In a few hours, she had gone from a wife to a bought property. Her dignity was robbed, her freedom was robbed, and a man, whom she didn’t know, was ready to rob her body. She felt sick thinking how his hands had groped her. She was angry at John. He had been a drunkard, she accepted. He started gambling, she accepted. He hit her, she didn’t say a word. But selling her off was beyond what she could take. And not just sell, he sold her to a dangerous man who was unable to hear a rational argument. She didn’t want him. It was plain and simple, but he was having a hard time understanding. But Elena was sure of one thing- when he comes back, he will have her. No matter what. She has to run, she thought and wiped her eyes. She looked down at her clothes. Her shirt was torn. She searched the suite. The large door she opened revealed a huge bedroom with a sparkling skyline of New York. The entire wall was glass and she was mesmerized for a second. B
Aslan's POVAslan kicked the elevator. “What does she think she is?” Her constant crying was freaking him out. He didn’t like crying women. In fact, he had never seen crying women except for his sister and mother. He had only seen women smiling, and moaning beneath him. Then why this one was crying like a baby? Yes, she was betted on a poker table, but her own husband had betted her. The jerk had shown his true colors. Then why doesn’t she just accept Aslan knowing that he has saved her from that piece of shit? What is the problem? The elevator pinged and he came out in the lobby. Several heads turned and women sighed, as they looked at him. Yes, this is what he wanted. He is handsome, and knew that everyone wanted him, then why isn;t this woman showing the same interest? He made his way to the car waiting for him and slipped in. “Take me to Lucci’s, Mike.” Lucci was his friend’s bar and it was not just bar, but a strip club and Aslan was the only one there who had fucked every one of
Elena's POVShe knew it was her end. The way he was driving, she didn’t know if they will make it safely to the hotel. His knuckles were white and so were hers for clutching the seat tightly. His jaw was ticking and he had not looked at her once since they were in the car. Elena wanted to cry and scream and hit him but she knew it will only make him furious.Right now, she was not even able to think what he would do to her. Would he torture her? Being with him was a torture in itself but an angry man like him was not a good idea. Elena just sat there. Her heart was beating fast and she was looking ahead to avoid looking at the beast. They arrived to the hotel in 5-10 minutes but they felt like an eternity. The tension between them could be cut with a knife. The path to the police unit which she had covered all running and panting in the hope that it will lead to his punishment had brought her back to the place she had escaped, and she had ended up in praying for herself. The guard tip
Author’s POVHe looked at her as she came out of the shower. Her hair was wrapped in a towel and she was wearing his bathrobe. The knot on the robe made him smile. She feels its gonna save her. He took a drag from his cigar and gulped his whiskey. She was looking breathtaking. He didn’t know why he wanted her, but he knew that it was his desire and he never killed his desire.Elena didn’t look at him but the smell of the cigar alerted her that he was smoking. So many people die of cancer every day. Why not this monster? She instead turned her attention to her hair. She went to the dressing table and looked at herself. Her eyes were tired. She was an ordinary woman who was not a striking beauty, yet this man had chosen her to fulfill his carnal desire. Why? Honestly, he ticked every box on the list of being desirable, apart from owning a little brain, but rest of him quite perfect, then why her, when he could pick any girl at the bar or wherever he went? She dried her hair with the tow
Author's POV Elena removed the shirt as soon as she got inside the bathroom. It had his scent which was intoxicating. But she was not ready to look at herself. Her body had marks. Her shoulder had swelled and a red mark was clear with his teeth’s indentation. Same goes for her breast where he had bitten her. Her lips were swollen, she had a hickey, and even her waist had a mark where he had grabbed her. She looked battered which she was. She sat down on the toilet and thought about the night. She had a normal day. If only John had not gone out, she could be sleeping in her home, in her room, beside her snoring husband now. Her husband, who betted her on a poker table. Elena’s tears fell as she thought about John. He didn’t even look up as he lost her, his wife. He only drank his drink and passed out. God knows what he must be doing now. Would he realize his mistake once he wakes up? But what would change? This man was not going to leave her. And what would happen even if John realize
Author’s POV Just then, the doorbell rang and Aslan had to get the door. He deposited her carefully on the sofa and vanished in the bathroom. Elena winced as she tried to move. She was sore and battered. He came out with a towel around his waist and Elena had to admit that he looked like a bad prince or maybe King who ruled everything around him. So, does it make her his slave? She shook her head but then realized that she was naked. What if the room service gets in? Definitely, the king won’t bring the food himself. She heard voices and quickly hid behind the sofa. If she would run towards the bedroom, they will see her naked ass running. Aslan pushed the cart inside and found the room empty. Then he heard her faint breathing. He got on the sofa and looked down. There she was, in a bundle. He smiled and wondered what was she doing there? But what would be the fun in asking. “Booo.” He yelled loudly and she jumped up, her hands on her heart. It made him laugh. Elena’s heart almost
John’s POVHe woke up and groggily rubbed his eyes. His eyes went to the clock but everything was blurry. He cursed and stood up. He went closer and saw that it was 10 o’clock. He had slept in late, but who cares? Elena must have gone to work already and there was no one to scold him.He had seen a horrible dream last night. He had bet and lost Elena on a poker table. But he laughed now. He would never do that. Besides, he had left poker. Not entirely but he was trying to.He came to kitchen and saw the dirty dishes from yesterday. He looked at the kitchen counter. There was no breakfast. He drank a glass of water and then called Elena. His head was about to explode. Her phone was switched off. His memory was coming back now. Dan had called. They had gone to Kings Casino. Why? He doesn’t know. He remember taking the envelope of money, Elena had given him. Did he pay the power bill?He turned on the light but it didn’t lit up. So, power was cut off. Now everything fell in place. Him lo
Aslan’s POVAslan couldn’t stop beaming as he stood there at the altar. He looked at his mother, she was so happy. Alicia was showing all of her teeth, smiling so much, Joanna’s kids were looking so beautiful dressed for their uncle’s marriage. Aslan adjusted his bow for the hundredth time. He knew he will be no match to Elena’s beauty, but he wanted to look good for her.Slowly the music started and one by one the bridesmaids started pouring in. Bella came next as she was the maid of honor. Then the flower girl came followed by the ring bearer. He was waiting for Elena, the music went on but she didn’t come. His heart was beating fast now. God, where is she? Is she alright? What’s going on?Breathing was getting difficult. Ian came running inside and informed that Elena had not arrived. His men started figuring out what was going on. Her destined driver was not picking the phone. Aslan was growing restless. The murmur of the crowd turned into chattering. He was about to leave the al
Aslan’s POVThe first thing he did when he woke up was to order flowers for his wife. He did his morning routine, worked out, shaved, got a massage, and then his friends arrived in his room. Elena had stayed at Elle’s place last night. He was already missing her. A night without her was a punishment. His friends got busy in helping him getting ready. The photographer recorded everything. Finally they made their way towards the cars. He was not just walking out of his house, but he was walking out of his old life to a new one, one he had never believed would be looking so appealing. He was walking towards the love of his life. In the arms of a goddess. He had never known that he will ever fall in love, let alone getting married. He shook his head. An age old memory visited him and he kept her face aside. He was Elena’s and he will always belong to her, and she will belong to him. It was damn sure.Elena’s POVShe was woken up by the giggling of girls. When she woke up rubbing her eyes, t
Author’s POVIt was the night before their wedding day. His bachelorette party was far from over. It was a strictly no- stripper party. Why? Because he had promised Elena. Elle had threatened to kill Matthew if she even suspected that a stripper was coming. The warning was more for Ian than Matthew. So, basically they were just watching some French movie and sipping on their drinks.Tomorrow, he will get married. Aslan thought. He was excited like a kid in a toy store. He couldn’t believe that he was an altogether different man a few months back and now he was smitten.Their journey reflected on his mind and he cursed himself. He had put her through hell. The night when he had branded her, made him hang his head in shame. But then he got an idea. He stood up and was going to the door, when Matthew asked, “Hey man, it’s your party.”“I have something important to do.” Aslan replied absentmindedly.“What can be more important than enjoying your last day as a bachelor?” Ian queried.“Some
Author’s POVAs soon as he got home, he saw her smiling face. God, if this is what married life will feel like, he couldn’t wait to get married to this beautiful woman. She came to him with open arms and he lifted her up.He nuzzled his face into her neck and placed a kiss, making her moan. Wrapping her legs around his waist, he went to the couch. She was looking for any sign of betrayal but there was none as he looked at her face in admiration.“I had no idea that such beauty could exist.” He said it out aloud.“Are you drunk?” She giggled and he wanted to drink that sound.“Maybe.” He hid his face in her bosom and took a deep breath.“How was your day?” She asked.“Busy, as always.”“I knew it. That’s why I prepared a bath for you.”“For us.”“Ok, Us. Let’s go.” She took his hand and led him to the stairs. He followed her blindly. If she would take him to hell like this, he will gladly follow her.The bathroom was filled with roses and scented candles. “Let me help you.”She took off
Elena’s POVElena was trying to persuade Aslan to do otherwise but he wasn’t listening.“I don’t want a million dollar dress.” She protested for the nth time“But I want you to have the best.”“Aslan, that designer will cost me my life as the fees for entering his boutique.”“He is my friend.”“I am not going there.”“I won’t let you buy a dress from any other place.”“Then I will get married in a burlap sack.” She crossed her arms and slumped down on the sofa.“Urggghhhhh.” He did the same beside her.“Fine, I give in.”She smiled up at him. “But I have a condition.” He added.“No.” She knew it will be something she won’t be able to put up to.“Yes. I came halfway and now it’s your turn. I will come with you to choose your dress.”“No, it’s bad luck.”“Baby, I write my own luck.”“There is a reason such an old tradition is followed. You can’t see the dress before the wedding day.”“I just want to check how it will go with my tux.”“No.”“Yes. And I am coming. And if you say
John’s POVHe came home and threw the stuff on the kitchen counter. “Mira?”No sound. He tried again. Her jacket was gone, her shoes were gone, and there was no trace of her.He had only left her half an hour ago. She wanted to cook some Indian food for him and needed a few things. He ran upstairs, into his bedroom. That’s when the shock hit him. His safe was open and empty. The new watch he had bought was gone. A gold chain which was a symbol of his good old times, was gone.“Holy fucking shit. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Mira……” He screamed her name. He tried her phone. Switched off. He ran outside and took a cab. Her home was locked. She had not been there. He decided to go to police, but the thought hit him. What would he say when they will ask him the source of money? That he sold his wife? He was losing it. He had lost everything. That money was all he had. He had nothing else to survive on.Should he go to the police? Will they ask him the source of money or they will let it go? No he
Author’s POVHe was in his study, on his third stiff drink and still so much conscious. He had no idea why Elena wanted to meet his family. Could she not just live peacefully with him? Why does she want the entire package?“Because she is a good woman who understands the importance of family unlike you who doesn’t value family.” His heart scolded.“He already knows that family is nothing but a farce.” He thanked his mind for defending him.“Maybe she doesn’t think so?”“If she doesn’t, she is a fool as her family has proved him right.”He thought about her family and his anger resurfaced. They had made her cry and in return, he will make them cry. The glass shattered with the force and his hand started bleeding as the shards cut deep into his hand but he was far from feeling any pain.Elena looked at herself in the mirror. Aslan had chosen an off-white georgette dress for her. It was plain, full- sleeved, maxi dress. It’s like he wanted to cover her up. She was looking like a Britis
Author’s POVHe woke up and stretched his muscles. The beauty beside him was sleeping peacefully. There were still five minutes to his alarm. He bent down and kissed her soft lips. She moaned and his cock twitched. He removed the duvet and her perky breasts revealed themselves. He blew air on her nips and they hardened. He took it into his mouth and rolled his tongue around it. When she didn’t stir, he used his teeth and she groaned in her sleep. He took another one in his mouth and did the same.Elena knew what was going on. Almost every morning was same these days. It had been almost a week since his proposal and she had accepted it with a heavy heart. As he bit her, she couldn’t stay still. She groaned and felt his smile against her skin. Every time he touched her, she would spark up. Like his touch was a magic. She so wanted to detest him, but one touch and she knew she would melt, like she did just now, when his hands grabbed her tits, and kneaded them, and he placed open mouthed
Author’s POVHe saw her silent figure and tried to calm himself down. “It’s ok, Aslan, she is here. You didn’t lose her. She is right here.” He repeated to himself. But does that mean that he was not going to punish her? No way. Every mistake earns a punishment. She definitely deserves one. One that would warn her enough.Elena couldn’t dare to sleep. There was soft music playing in the car but his face kept reminding her that the night was far from over and there was something on his mind. May be a new way to punish her? But she didn’t regret running away. She had to try, even if she failed. The marriage was still a month away, she had time. After driving for more than three hours, Elena saw a distant place in the dark. It looked like a warehouse which was not even enlightened. She panicked. Is he going to kill her and leave her body here?He saw her panic. Good. She should be scared. He stopped the car at the entrance and got out. She was reluctant to accept his hand but he didn’t min
