Elena's POV

She knew it was her end. The way he was driving, she didn’t know if they will make it safely to the hotel. His knuckles were white and so were hers for clutching the seat tightly. His jaw was ticking and he had not looked at her once since they were in the car. Elena wanted to cry and scream and hit him but she knew it will only make him furious.

Right now, she was not even able to think what he would do to her. Would he torture her? Being with him was a torture in itself but an angry man like him was not a good idea. Elena just sat there. Her heart was beating fast and she was looking ahead to avoid looking at the beast.

They arrived to the hotel in 5-10 minutes but they felt like an eternity. The tension between them could be cut with a knife. The path to the police unit which she had covered all running and panting in the hope that it will lead to his punishment had brought her back to the place she had escaped, and she had ended up in praying for herself.
