Nurse Dawn’s POV:
After Cyborg and Xyrica left, I stared at my phone with my ex-boyfriend’s number on the screen. My hands are getting cold by the thought of calling that jerk just to let him know that I want to talk to him. I still hate him to the core, but he’s the only person I can speak to regarding my family’s accident.
I took a deep breath to gather some courage and then dialed his number. After a minute or two, he answered his phone.
