Raine knew she'd done what she shouldn't have even before she kissed his lips and raised her head slightly to look at Dane. The shock on Dane's face was apparent.
"I... Uhm... Erm.." She stammered out. She didn't know what to say.
Dane raised his head from the bed and rose to seat on it, the headache forgotten and stared at Raine. Her cheeks had turned deep shades of red, yet it didn't stop her from drawing closer to him and dipping her head to kiss—peck—him on the lips. Again.
