CHAPTER 03

Lever got out of the car when they arrived at the parking lot of a building. When Lever came down, he immediately looked at how tall the building in front of him was.

"Let's go inside," Luke said to Lever.

Luke walks first and Lever follows him. They entered the elevator. Lever had no idea where they were going or what they were going for.

Luke pressed the button on the fifteenth floor and began to climb up the elevator.

"This is where you'll live," Luke said to Lever who had been quiet and looking around.

When the elevator opened, Luke came out first and Lever followed.

"Remember room five hundred three, your room numbers," Luke explained to him. "The passcode of this unit is fourteen twenty five."

Luke dialed the numbers he said and the door of the condominium they went to opened. When Lever entered, he was amazed at the size of the room he entered.

The design of the room is nice, it's just that there aren't too many decorations, the overall color of the condominium is gray.

Lever rolled his eyes around and almost the stuff he needed was already there, but he thought this unit was too big for him.

"Do you live here too?" Lever asked Luke who was busy turning on the room light.

"No, I have a family and I need to go home with them," Luke replied to Lever.

Lever sat down on the gray sofa. The color gray is nice for Lever's sight because it's his favorite color, for him it's the aesthetic of this room.

"Since your dad is gone, I haven't changed anything in the layout of his unit, all the equipment here has been used and he's handled it," Luke explained to Lever who was sitting on the edge of the sofa.

"Lever, that's your dad's room and that's going to be your room too," Luke said again.

Luke walked over to Lever and sat down next to him. He is already carrying a paper bag. "This is my number if you have anything." Luke laid his calling card on the mini black glass table in front of them.

"This is what President Snipe is asking for," Luke told Lever. He had a key taken out and also placed on the mini table in front of them.

"And also phone, President Uz gave it to you."

He also puts it down on the mini table.

Lever looked at the things given to him. He couldn't believe that he was given a car by someone he didn't know and a latest phone by someone he didn't even know.

"I have a phone and I don't need a car," Lever told Luke in denial. "Those are too expensive for me to use," Lever added.

Luke nodded and smiled at what the young man said in front of him. Rifle Winchester's son was raised really in a simple life. Luke stood up once in front of Lever.

"In the next few days you will receive even more, so from now on train yourself because you have it all," Luke explained to Lever.

Lever's gaze shifted to a picture in front of them. He immediately stood up to go to it. A family picture of a stranger.

"This is your dad," Luke pointed to the boy in the picture.

Lever watched it carefully. His dad is too young in that picture, he thinks he is only ten years old.

"This is Chairman Ramond Winchester, your dad's grandfather and this is President Rayson Winchester and Mrs. Mariam Winchester is your grandparents," Luke explained to Lever.

"Why did they disappear?" Lever asked Luke.

Luke rested deeply, he could see in Lever's face that he wanted to know a lot about his family.

"I'm sorry Lever, but I'm not the right person to tell you everything," Luke replied to him.

"Who are President Snipe and President Uzi?" Lever asked again.

"Those two are your dad's best friends," Luke replied.

"Can I trust them?" Lever asked seriously.

Luke laughed a little at Lever's question. Luke grabbed Lever's shoulder and nodded. "They're the only ones you can trust," Luke replied to him.

"I need to leave because I'm going to fix the school you're going to, next week," Luke told Lever. "Everything you need is already here, but if I still have forgotten anything just call me and I'll order for you," Luke explains.

Lever Immediately nodded. Luke walked out of the condominium. The whole room became quiet where Lever was holding the picture frame of his father's family, Rifle.

He took it down and started walking around. He went to his kitchen which was almost fully equipped, he thought that if his mama was here she would definitely be happy with what she saw.

He opened the refrigerator empty -handed because of the stocks placed there. Secretary Luke was right when he said that everything he needed here was complete.

After touring the kitchen, Lever went to the room that Secretary Luke had shown him. When he opened it, the surroundings were very wide, but only one thing caught his attention, a big picture of two people.

He saw the two people in the picture, that's what Secretary Luke said his grandparents President Rayson and Mrs. Mariam Winchester.

It was too dark in the room so he opened the curtain, but when he opened it, apart from the sunlight, he saw a sliding glass door leading to the terrace outside.

Lever immediately went there, he could clearly see the vast city below, the houses around, the cars and people like ants from his place because of their small size.

He noticed also that the Arme building was close to where he lived. That's the company of pens. He wanted to buy an Arme pen because he wanted to give it as a gift to Kaycee she had long wanted on her birthday before, but he didn't have enough money to buy it then.

Lever entered the room because he was dazzled outside. He picked up his phone, walked to the bed while sitting there and called his mama Xyra's number.

Just one more ring Xyra immediately answered the son's call.

"Lever, are you in Manila yet?" Xyra's lively opening question to Lever.

Lever smiled when he heard his mother's voice. He nodded even though his mama couldn't see what he was doing.

"Papa's house is so nice," Lever replied to Xyra.

"It's good and you liked it," Xyra said cheerfully.

"I want you to come home, Mama," Lever said.

Lever lay down on the bed.

"Huh? Why? I thought it was beautiful?" Xyra asked.

"It's good, but I want to be with you," Lever explained to his mom Xyra that it was obvious that they had only been separated for a few hours and he was already missing his mother.

"My baby misses mama, don't worry if I don't have a job I'll visit you there," Xyra explained. "Where are you now?" Xyra asked Lever.

"In Dad's room, lying on the bed," Lever replied.

Lever frowned when he heard his mother's giggles.

"What's wrong, Mom?" Lever asked.

"Nothing, son. I just remember that's what your mom and dad made you," Xyra laughed. "All right, I'm going to miss my work," Xyra said, who immediately turned off the phone.

After turning off the phone, Lever immediately got up and walked around again. There was a study table in his room so he looked at what was in the drawer under the table.

There were three drawers there so he opened them one by one. Papers and ballpen of the first drawer, he opened the second drawer, only papers were placed in the last drawer, he also opened it and saw a pen.

He picked it up right away, but it found something else, so Lever left to sit down to see what he had touched.

His eyes widened when he saw a pistol gun. He took it with the pen.

"Arme," he read on the mark of the pen.

This is one of the most expensive products of the Arme company that he plans to buy. He opened the pen to find out what was strange there, when he opened it his forehead was so wrinkled that it was not the pen, it was a knife. He put the cover of the Arme pen back on and saw a small button there which he immediately pressed.

"Rifle Winchester is the only handsome in the world!"

Lever heard in the pen what he thought was the voice of his dad, Rifle because it introduced Rifle Winchester. Lever lowered it and at the pistol gun looked .

It makes him wonder why there is such a thing here. The gun was heavy so he thought it was real. He removed the magazine of the gun and frowned to see that the bullet in the gun he was holding was just a plastic bullet, a pellet.

"Airsoft gun," Lever said.

Lever is also familiar with this because he sees this kind of toy gun on the internet.

Lever looked away when he heard someone ring the doorbell. He immediately cleaned the table and returned the Airsoft gun and Arme pen to original container before getting up from his seat, he walked out of the room when he still heard someone ringing the doorbell.

Lever thinks maybe it was just secretary Luke and forgot something. He saw that the gift given to him by his father's friend was still on the mini table.

When Lever opened the door a delivery boy came up to him holding a pizza box.

"Mr. Lever Winchester?" the delivery boy asked.

"Yes," Lever replied in surprise.

He doesn't even remember ordering pizza. The delivery boy handed the pizza box to Lever.

"I'll just take my money," Lever said.

"It's already paid Sir, just sign it," said the delivery boy.

Surprisingly, Lever just signed as well. "Thank you," Lever said.

"Stacey!"

Lever's gaze shifted to the woman shouting in the front door of his unit. The man who delivered the pizza to him left.

"It'll take a while to open the door!" annoyed Youna said.

She turned to Lever and Youna raised an eyebrow at Lever when she saw the young man looking at her.

"What are you looking at?" a young lady questioned Lever.

Lever ignored her and would close the door of his condo when Youna stopped him.

"Do you know Stacey? Is she there?" Youna asked Lever.

"I don't know," Lever replied calmly.

"I'm asking you well!" irritated Youna said.

"I answered you nicely," Lever said emotionlessly.

Lever removed Youna's grip on his door once the door closed. Lever went to the sofa and opened the pizza sent to him.

He was leaning on the sofa, thinking about how he was going to finish the big pizza in front of him, he was the only person here.

Lever was shaken when he heard the noise of the woman he talked to outside the condo. He thinks the woman is a rich child because of her cursed behavior and then that woman is too noisy.

Lever closed his eyes and just wanted to sleep.
