Jai might not be as frustrated as Darrion, but the feeling was there. That’s why he left after dinner to get some air and cool his head. Darrion did the same. They went to different directions though. Jai went to the hospital to visit Claude while Darrion went elsewhere.
Little Shoru came with him, hiding inside his scarf as usual. The little puppy licked Jai’s cheek carefully. Earning no reaction from him, she whined.
Jai sighed silently and reached to her, rubbing her softly on the head with his index finger. “I’m just sulking a little bit. I’m alright.”
Shoru nuzzled her snout to his cheek to return the affection.
