OSWIN's POV

If you think you can touch my woman, then you are mistaken, mortal. I thought to myself and kept on laughing, not knowing that the movement made my sunglasses drop and landed itself on Elena's lap. I gasped and tried to hide behind the leaves when she glanced up my way.

I hoped to stay hidden from her view, but my attempt failed terribly.

"Come down this instance, Oswin. I know you are up there," she said, rising to her feet and looking up at the big tree, especially at the spot I was hiding.

I knew by now that pretending not to be here wasn't an option anymore. So, I hopped down the tree and landed on the ground with a pout.

"Oswin, I asked you to come down. Not jump down!" she gasped, looking at me with a mixture of shock; her voice was also laced with concern.

"Err...what's the difference?" I blinked in confusion.

"It is so high. You could have died...or injured..." she tried to explain with a perplexed countenance still plastered on her face.
