Chapter Three

"Hey Miss"

I pretended not to hear him, and started to walk but a hand grab my wrist and turned me to face him.

"Let go!"...I sternly said while glaring at him but I heard another footstep behind me walking near me and touching my shoulders so I shrug it off.

"You've got a nice shoulder miss"....I heard him saying.

As I couldn't take it anymore I used my free hand to punch him but it gotten more worse.

Because he locked my wrist in his hand and gripped it tightly so now I only have my feet so I kicked the man infront of me who is about to walk near me.

But As I noticed there we're three of them and they keep wlking near me so all I can do now is to scream for help.

"Help! Please! Help"...my tears were about to fall bit this big guy who is gripping my wrist tightly just chuckels.

"It's a bar woman no one's gonna hear you idiot"....he said but I didn't stop screaming.

"Help! Please help me! Let go of me you jerks!"...I shouted until I heard someones voice. I couldn't help but to cry maybe onother one that's with them.

"Let go of her!"...I heard he said and they stop dragging me and they faced him. "Mind your business man"....they said while chuckling and now mybtears just keep on falling down, my knees are weak.

"She is my business Dude"

"What?!"...the guys who dragged me earlier laugh at what he said. "I said she is my business because she is my girl so back off dude"....he said and started to walk near me.

"Tsk! She is your girl huh? Then why did you let your GIRL roam around this time"....they said.

"Look Dude I don't want a fight so just let us go"....he said once again while helping me to stand. "Tsk!"...I heard one of them mumbled as they got away.

"Are you ok?"...and now I heard his voice once again, it seems familliar, I think....Although my face is covered with tears I tried my best to look at the man infront of me and to my surprise it's Wayne.

"Hey, Bumper Are you ok?"...he asked, Arghh there goes the bumper thing again. "Yeah, T-thanks"...I said while fixing myself up.

As I'm done fixing myself, I now faced him. "Thanks again"...I said and he just nodded at me. "Your..Welcome..Bumper"...Can't he just answer properly without calling me Bumper?

I then remeber what he said earlier.

"Oh! and for your info, I'm not your girl!"...I said. "Oh right, I just said that so they won't bother you again"...he say proudly..

"Just...."

"Just what?"...He said and gets his face closer to mine. "Just don't say it again or else I'll really punch your face"....I said then he gets away.

"Don't assume okay, it's just for a show you know"....he said, and what did he say? Me? Assuming? Woah...Is he kind of dreaming?

"I'm not assuming I'm just warning you"....I said.

"Oww....kay"..

"By the way, what are you doing here? You are a student, why are you going into a bar?"...I asked curiously..

"I'm a student yeah, but I'm already 19 so I'm legal"....he said and I just rolled my eyes at him.

"And you what are you doing here at this hour?"...and no he's the one asking.

"I've got overtime at work, and there we're no available cabs at this hour so I'm walking, to get home"....I said.

"Okay...so I'm off now"....he said....I guess that's why he is in this mood becuse of earlier...maybe, nevermind. "Thanks again, JERK"...I shouted and he faced me but I quickly turned my back and started to walk away.

After I got home, I quickly turn the lights on and get some wter for me to calm down.

I was so scared earlier. Thank god that Jerk came. If it wasn't for him, I'd be raped by now, which I never ever imagined.

I looked at the clock hanging at the wall infront of me and it's already 2:00am in the morning, then I remebered that I have a class at 6 in the morning so I better sleep right now.

After I chabge my clothes I went staright to bed and let myself drift to sleep.

It's was 5:00 am in the morning and I am really really sleepy but instead of going back to bed I went in to the bathroom and started to take a bath.

After that I wear my uniform and made my way downstairs to cook some breakfast.

When I'm done eating, I put and wash the dishes away.

I looked again at the clock and its already 5:30. Before heading out I grab my cellphone in my skirt's pocket and dial Lesley's number.

Calling Lesley......

Ringing..........📞

"Hey"

"Hi, are you ready for school?"

"Yeah I woke up early this time"

"Good thing you did, or else you'll be late again"

"Yeah"

"Wait me there okay"

"Okay"

"Bye"

"Bye"

TOOT. TOOT.

After ending the call, I immediately step outside and wait for her as she said.

A few mins. had passed and I heard her car stopping infront of my house.

"Hey get in"....she said and I ket myself in...as she start her ebgine and drive her car to the school.

"Seems like you didn't get enough sleep"....she said noticing my yawns. "Something happened last night"...I said and when I look at her I saw her eyes had gotten big and round like a ball, shock from what I said. "Hey It's not what you think, okay?"

"Okay...so what happened last night?"....she asked.

"I almost got raped"...I said. "What?! Oh my god Sarah Are you okay?!"....she shockingly said.

"I was sacred last night but someone saved me"...I said. "Oh thank god, by the way who saved you?"

"The JERK"...I casually said.

"What?! Who?"

"I mean Wayne"...I almost bump my heap infront because she suddenly stop the car. "Yah?! Sarah How dare you call my baby a JERK?"....she pouted.

"Hey don't pout okay?, Okay I'm sorry I called your baby a Jerk"....Ooh I almost throw up just by saying the baby word.

"I wish I'm there too"...she said and starts driving again.

"You wished to be raped?"....I asked and she just hit me lightly.. "Are you insane, but if ever someone tried too, I wish he could be my saviour too"

"Gosh, you are totall lost in his charms are you?"

"Yeah, Oh we're here"...she announced and park the car to the parking lot and we bot go together at the classroom.

After a few mins. Our lec. got here already and starts duscussing.

"Let's go"...Lesley said and I just nod at her as my answer before we madebour way out.

By the time we enter tha canteen, I noticed that all seats are taken.

"Hey Lesley, should we really eat here?"...I asked and she turned to me.

"Why?"...she suddenly asked. "All seats are taken and theres no other vacant"

"We can just buy and eat in the garden"....she said and I just nod, sounds like a good idea.

After buying our foods, we immediately headed out and made our way to the garden.

As we got there, Lesley made a heavy sigh and sat down to the bench there as I sat beside her.

"Finally I can rest my feet now"....she said. "Your high heel shoes is way too high that's why your feet gets tired easily, don't you want a normal and flat shoes?"...I said while eating the sandwich I bought to the canteen earlier.

"Hey Sarah, Flat shoes don't suit me"....she said.

"Okay..."I said

As the time passed, All we did was chatting to each other and laughing at each other stories, although she's the only one who laughs the most.

"Let's go, we're gonna be late for the class"...I said and we both walked together heading to our classroom.

Afternoon came, and I need to get ready because my shift at the cafe will start at 5:00 pm to 11:00 pm.

And as always we both get home and she drop me off at the coffee shop so by the time I got there, I get myself fixed quick so that I can start my job.

"Good evening sir"....I greeted, I couldn't see his face but I don't care anyways. "What's your order sir?"...I asked and now he lift up his head so now I can ckearly see his face.

"Two Hot Americano and 1 Espresso take out"...he said.

"Is that all sir?"

"Yes"...he said.

"Ah sir your name?"...I said asking for his name, for his order.

"Lucas"....he said and I just nod.

After a few minutes, I got all his order ready so I called for him to take his order.

"Thanks"....he said and I just nod and send him off with my eye. Yeah I know him he is one of That JERK'S friend, but I don't care anyways.

As the time pass by customers got plenty and I was so tired when the clock strikes at 11:00 pm. and it signals that my shift was already done.

"Hey Sarah, Are you okay?"....Karen asked me, one of my co-worker here and I just nod at her.

"Oh good, I thiught you're about to collapse"....she said, relieved that I am okay.

"Karen, I'm going out now"...I said while fixing myself and changed my clothes. After that, I bid goodbye to them and head out.

Luckily there is still a cab that's available at this hour so, I don't have to walk, just to get home.

"Taxi!"....I called and it stops right infront ne so I quickly get in.

"Where to? Ma'am"...the driver asked and I gave him the adress.

After a minute we already got here in my house.

I entered my house and turn the lights on.

I cooked some food because I feel hubgry again. I couldn't eat earlier because the customers keeo on coming so I have to move fast.

After eating, I wasghed the dishes and brush my teeth so I could go to bed.

I was about to enter my room when my phone vibrated on my pocket so I immediately take it out so I can see who messaged me.

Hey Sarah It's me Sister Ann, I was just hoping you're doing well. The orphanage missed you so as we, the nuns here. We missed you Sarah. When are you going to visit us?

I didn't know the nuns there and also Sister Ann missed me. I should visit them this weekend. I have a day ofd at the coffee shop this saturday. I must visit them.

After I read that message I went to bed and let myself drift off.

I never really cared about someone's business even tough I know them, except for my friend Lesley, but I am not a bad girl though, I'm not as bad as you think...I know my limits.

I thank someone who helped me, but that doesn't mean I will associate with them. It's just that, I want to pay their kindness to me.
