Silver’s cold gaze meets mine, her eyes devoid of any emotion. I notice that Lily, who had been engrossed in her chicken feast, abruptly stops eating, sensing the tension in the air.

“Natasha,” Silver’s voice cuts through the silence, her tone measured and detached. “Lucien has been looking for you.”

Her words hang in the air, and a sense of unease settles within me. Silver’s behavior is unusually distant, and I can’t help but wonder what has transpired to cause this change in her demeanor. I’ve always relied on her as a trusted confidante, but now her unreadable expression leaves me feeling uncertain and on edge.

Silently, I bow my head in acknowledgement, offering a wordless thanks to both Silver and Lily. Their presence, though fraught with an air of tension, still provides a modicum of comfort amidst the turmoil that surrounds me. With a sense of duty, I turn to leave the chamber, my thoughts filled with questions about Lucien’s intentions.

Walking out of Lucien’s room I cannot place my finger on it but there’s a lot of strange things going on with him but I guess that’s his problem, it might be pretense after all. Who knows what he’s trying to do with me now. As I pass by the elevator leading down to the dungeon, a thought strikes me—I haven’t seen him in a while, and I should tell him about the pregnancy. Acting on impulse, I decide to take the initiative and head straight for the dungeon without much consideration. Unbeknownst to me, I’m being observed by Adam’s spy, whose presence goes unnoticed.Sneaking into the kitchen, I cautiously scan the surroundings, making sure there are no maids or guards in sight. Spotting a pack of food conveniently placed on the table, I seize the opportunity and grab it, knowing Tyler must be starving down in the dungeon. The thought of the dungeon irritates me, and I mutter disparaging comments under my breath about the dark, dreary place.Navigating the familiar path, I reach Tyler’

There I am, still in my bedroom, lost in my thoughts about Natasha and the silky texture of her hair. Suddenly, Adam enters the room, accompanied by one of the men. He looks ordinary, with an average appearance and a normal physique. Adam convinces him to speak up and share what he witnessed.I fix my gaze on the man, my voice dripping with a mix of authority and skepticism “Tell me what you saw.”Confidently, the man begins to recount his observation “I saw Natasha heading towards the dungeon.”My initial reaction is disbelief. How could Natasha be going to the dungeon? I warn the man, my tone laced with a chilling threat “If what you say is proven false, you will lose your life.”Despite my doubts, the man remains steadfast in his claim, unwavering in his confidence. My curiosity is piqued, and I swiftly dress myself, preparing to investigate the truth. Throughout the entire ordeal, I maintain a calm and composed demeanor, not allowing any hint of my inner turmoil to show.As I stri

“Hey don’t you realize it’s rude and unfair for a man your size to pick fights with a lady?” She says with her usual seductive tone which is now starting to annoy me. Now I wanna rip her throats out so badly. “Who sent you?” Why are you here?” I say as I brace myself for a full blown attack on the witch, she might see my attack coming but it might just be worth the try since the power emanating from just her aura is more than enough to kill a meager wolf out of just fear. The icy effects on my body has slowed down my speed and movements luckily there’s been no effect on my judgment and the rate at which I decide situations. As I launch myself towards the witch, our bodies clash in a furious battle. She manipulates fire and air, using them as deadly weapons against me. Fireballs rain down upon me, but I swiftly maneuver through the forest, weaving and dodging with agility and precision. The once serene and dark forest now bears the scars of destruction, as trees are engulfed in flam

It’s really cold out in this forest, I rub my hands together and I can feel the vaporized air coming out of my mouth with every breath I take. Immediately I reach familiar grounds I take the chance with the first pay phone I see and call Adam, describing my location and he comes straight to me and picks me up. As I call Adam, he arrives promptly to pick me up, his expression filled with concern and anger as he takes in my burnt and torn clothes. I keep my shoulders high and fold my arms tightly, refusing to speak a word as we ride in silence.Returning to my mansion, an eerie silence envelops the surroundings. We enter the living room, and I stumble in, bloodied and exhausted. The weight of betrayal from Natasha lingers in my thoughts, adding to my weariness. I let out a heavy sigh, my gaze shifting up to the sparkling chandelier above.Adam gently taps my back twice, a silent gesture of support, before making his way upstairs, leaving me to my own thoughts. Will I ever recover if I have to watch him kill Tyler? Lucien smirks at me, his sheepish smile sending chills down my spine. “You see Natasha, that’s the problem” he says and makes a dramatic pause, he straightens his posture and raises his hand as high as possible. “You’re too attracted to this piece of trash!!” A resounding slash is heard, the sound of blood oozing out of raw flesh fills the air and Tyler’s body thuds on the ground. Lucas has slashed Tyler’s throat open with his claws, the scene as horrible as everything I ever imagined Lucien to be like merciful but I have been hoping he’s changing. “Lucien doesn’t even value the treacherous attempt a taking his own life as much as he values you.” It’s like she’s speaking in parables, I cannot understand a single word she speaks. “Please be extra detailed” I plead. Silver takes a deep breath and holds my shoulder, “all I’m saying is, Lucien is very protective of you, and it seems all of your actions get to him more than you know” it all starts to make sense now and I nod severally. I listen to Silver’s words, her attempt to provide some solace amidst the turmoil. While a part of me acknowledges the validity of her perspective, it does little to assuage the pain and anger that surges through me. “But Tyler… he was killed so unjustly, Silver,” I argue, my voice laced with frustration and sadness. Her gentle hand rests upon my back, offering a comforting touch. “I must be stronger, I must revolt and revenge” I say silently after going back into my room from eavesdropping on Lucien and the commander from earlier. There's a shortcut to the temple, and I know it like the back of my hand. It's a winding path that few know about, and it's shrouded in mystery. As we run, our speed increases, until we're moving at the maximum speed that a werewolf can travel. The air rushes past us, and I feel like I could run forever. But there's no time for that now. We need to reach the temple before Aurora does. We're stopped in our tracks by a huge crack in the earth. It's as if an earthquake has split the land in two. I'm about to jump across when Sam appears, teleporting in a flash of light. "This is the advantage of being a witch," he says, a smug grin on his face. "I can just teleport across." I feel a surge of annoyance, but I know he's right. I grin, and I leap into the air with all the strength I have. I feel the wind rushing past me, and for a moment, I feel weightless. Then I land on the other side, my feet hitting the ground with a thud. Jacob is still on the other side, looking at me in disbelief.
