Hell of Memories

A long time ago...

After the war between dragons and humans, Queen of Hellos Kingdom, Magenta rejoiced in her epic victory against winged-like a bird with scales as durable as the metal armor called Dragons. 

Queen Astra and King Eynas were both lost the war. Some of the Dragon's Kings and Queens from different Kingdoms died too and one of the most remarkable leaders who had a good fight among humans was from the Dragonese Kingdom. King Dharguthot and Queen Vaasa dissipate their acidic bile throughout the cities of humans territories but when Magenta's Hellhounds soldiers set an arrow with a sharp-pointed blade to shoot their wings, they got hit so bad and even their length and width were not measurable, their enormous size wasn't a big problem to assassinate or captive them. Dragons have weaknesses too depends on their classes. 

"Where is the Heart of Magic?" Magenta called her butler Kazam.

She's now sitting on her throne with eight months fetus on her swollen belly. She's mean, stone-hearted, and hostile among her people. All of them kneeled before her whenever their Queen walked beside them. She became cruel when her husband got killed by getting the magic heart of Astra. Astra blows up his body with fire coming from her mouth and that made Magenta seek revenge to avenge her husband's death. She plans a brilliant scheme to get inside the Dragon's lair and gain their trust by giving them treasures of their Kingdom but it's only a part of her wicked plan. 

Kazam drags his feet out from his stance going to the sealed metal box that was laying above the wide table near the Queen. He took it and immediately gave it to Magenta. 

"Here, my Queen!" He mumbled. 

Everyone hailed their queen's success. 

"Now, that the Heart of Magic is in our hands, we can never be defeated!" Queen Magenta shouted as she pulled the stone magic from the box and lift to let shows, everyone, how powerful it is to control the whole universe. Through its unlimited power, their Kingdom will be saved. 

He gave it again to Kazam. 

"Putt it back!" She ordered him and her butler followed her instructions.

One year later

"What a beautiful baby you have!" Thalia, her sister took the little girl in her arms.

Magenta held a big party to celebrate almost one year of the existence of the Heart of Magic inside the Kingdom. No more chaos and destruction occurred because they were protected by its magic. 

Dragons were not be seen after the war so people in the Kingdom weren't afraid of anything. They lived peacefully and vigorously. 

Queen Magenta set her gaze to her lovely daughter. She's the only memory left of her husband Raquinn. She felt a little lonely every time she recalled the time where Dragons have the magic stone. Now that it's in her hands and was guarded strictly, she feels in solace.

"Poor my little princess, Hydra, she will grow old without seeing her father" she mumbled and took her from Thalia. 

She caressed her face and stroke her hair. She was smiling at her. 

"Someday, when I'm gone, you will rule the world, and I'm going to endow the Heart of Magic to you! " she became sensitive. She wiped the tears that started streaming down her face. 

Thalia walked closer to comfort her older sister. 

"Don't worry sister, I will take care of her!" She whispered in her ears as the dagger she was hiding was quickly stabbed to death. 

Magenta's eyes widened as she felt a sharp thing digging inside her chest. She saw Thalia took her child as she was bleeding to death. Her sister places the baby in her crib. The baby is crying so loud. If anyone finds out about the assassination of the Queen, she will be cast out from the Kingdom.

Adrenaline rushed her to take her sister's limp body towards the terrace while gasping her last breath. 

"Why? Thalia, why?" Her voice is almost a whisper. 

Thalia stops and leans her lips to Magenta's face. Her eyes were full of anger and no regrets.

"Because I want to be the Queen! I'm tired to know that I only exist because If you!" She said. 

Before pushing her on the ground, Thalia uttered her last word of goodbye.

"Die!" She whispered and pushed Magenta's body and fall. 

She tried to grab her sister Thalia but she has no energy left anymore and her chest tightened already. 

"Ahhh!!" Magenta cried as her head first hit the cement floor. 

Bloods splattered and her limbs began to tear apart from each other. Magenta's eyes stay open as blood dripping on her face from her broken skull. 

"Ahhhh!!!" A woman screamed from the entrance of the palace and it was Thalia. 

" Help! My sister jumped from the terrace!" She shouted. 

  The people in the Hellos Kingdom mourned the suicidal death of their Queen. Because Thalia was the second blood of the Herlom family, the head adviser of the said kingdom proclaimed her to be the acting queen since her daughter Hydra was still incompetent to be on the throne because of her age matter.

"Hail be the queen!" All of them bowed and kneeled as the senior adviser Walter place the crown on her head.

Thalia gets what she wanted. She ruled the Hellos Kingdom for seventeen years. Because of her illness, she died at 38. Princess Hydra was soon declared as the new Queen of the Kingdom. People again was so happy that the real queen was now sitting on the throne. 

At her young age, people see her as one of the wicked queens who make rulings without mercy. They thought that she will follow her mother's good deeds and achievements but she's more a medusa in their eyes. 

She wouldn't listen to her senior adviser Walter. 

"You can't tell me what to do with the gem! It's time to eliminate small kingdoms by using it!" She told Walter in her brat manner. 

Walter won't allow it. He served the late queen Magenta for almost sixty years with loyalty. While she was alive, she told him that when using the Heart of Magic, it takes courage and control to achieve its certain power. You can use its power if necessary but with limitations. Once, the Heart of Magic will be wielded by someone with a dark desire in her heart, it will vanish on her own and find a person who will serve to be its new master. 

"Why the rush? We are now peaceful and growing! You can't use its power wherever you like!" Walter advise her. 

She glared at him. Hydra won't listen to him even he said what will happen if the power is not used properly. 

"I am now your queen, Walter. My mom is just a part of my hell memories. She killed herself without even thinking about me! She's a selfish one and I hated her!" After that Hydra told him to left. Her decision is fixed. 

At her young age, she called her legions and come with them to assassinated every small town near them by taking the Heart of Magic with her. 

She leads the war. She used its power to destroy every realm they passed by. The first invasion was successful but when they're about to go back to their journey, Hydra couldn't touch the Heart of Magic anymore. Her hands burned because of its extreme heat until it slowly faded. 

As the year's passed by, she always ordered her soldiers to search every village If they found a stone with a shape of a heart. To her obsession with the Heart of Magic, she ordered her troops to kill all the hunters in every city. Innocent people were killed and as Hydra reigns, many suffers and dies.

Twenty years later

In the Hellos Kingdom, we're startled to hear the news about the war between the Labyrinth and Oregon Kingdoms. 

Exclusive news explodes like a bomb to the whole palace until it reaches Queen Hydra.

"What? King Tharks demolished King Reez and his armies in one snap?" She was sitting on her throne while her servant Leonor was cleaning her fingernails.

Valdemar, her brave knight nod his head. 

"Yes, my queen. I heard that the whole place was covered with a shimmering light!" After hearing it, Hydra almost falls from her sit. 

" What do you mean? A light like a blazing fire?" She asked Valdemar.  

Leonor couldn't concentrate well on her job until she struck her queen's nails. 

"Ouch!" She shouted and kicked Leonor. She stumbled on the five steps stairs from her throne. 

" I'm sorry, my queen!" She begs for Hydra. 

Leonor quickly stood up from the floor and kneeled before her queen. She was shaking. She can't die yet. She had siblings to help. 

"Get out!" Hydra put her loud pitch at her. 

Leonor ran away and sniffs while wiping the tears from her face. 

Hydra came to stare at Valdemar and focused on their discussion. She was positive that it was the Heart of Magic's power. Meaning, one of the King found it and she will do a proper investigation to confirm if it's the doing of the magic stone who lost and stolen from him. 

" I heard that King Tharks won the war!" Valdemar informed her. 

Queen Hydra narrowed her eyes and took a deep breath. She gritted her teeth and made her hands into a ball. 

"Call Leonor, I have something to tell her!" Hydra said with a devil from on her face. 

"I won't let him have my magic gem! " she said while gazing at Valdemar who was ambling out from her throne to get Leonor for her.
