"Oh, that? I forgot about it completely, and I am so sorry. But don't worry, I will see to it, my lady. I won't forget to leave out a period for Jimmy once, every two days." Came the reply.

"I know where to get you." Juliet claimed.

Some Minutes Later...

Jane and Juliet were dressed in short gowns. Their outing bags were slung across their shoulders. As they walked towards the exit of the female hostel's gate, a group of freshers ran towards them.

"Seniors Jane, Juliet!" They chorused.

Juliet and Jane stopped and stared at them.

"Hey you all! What's it with you?" That was Juliet.

"Seniors, we were sent to you but had great difficulty in finding your dormitory. One senior Steve and another who didn't tell us his name, said that they are waiting for you two at the gate." One of them said.

Jane hurriedly dismissed them and together with her friend, they hurried towards the college's exit gate. But it was a long way... Very long. Perhaps, it was because of the long distance that

The two friends looked at each other first, and then, at Jim."Argh... I must say that this is a coincidence. We are also about to go and check the recently opened restaurant. Perhaps, you and Steve could meet us there." Juliet said and quickly walked away, dragging her friend with her.The two remained silent and only spoke after they had registered their names and exited the school's gate. "Hey, what is your boyfriend up to?" Juliet asked quickly."I was about asking you that exactly! Why did he invite Jim too? He spotted you with Jimmy today, and he knows very well that the two are rivals in all aspects." Jane said."Jim... Something fishy is going on." Juliet said. There was a zebra crossing on the main road that passed through the length of the college's frontage, connecting the suburb behind, to the mega city ahead. They slowly walked on the black and white stripes, pitying the waiting queue of cars."We should be grateful, to whoever it is, that brought about this zebra cross

The two friends had barely eaten their meal halfway when they heard two familiar voices. They turned and scanned the entrance of the restaurant. It was Steve and Jim."Hey, we must leave now, if not, we may never find what we are looking for." Juliet said quickly, standing up. Jane did same."Where, then, shall we go?" She asked."See, we shall head for the kitchen right away. The cooks there would be delighted, and must have a foreknowledge of who their employer is. They will evidently be saying good things about him. We shall seize the opportunity and hear all we can. If we are found out, we are done for." The other said."But the way to the kitchen?" Jane asked."I do not know. We shall use our instincts. Be careful not to attract attention. Steve and Jim might be looking for us. The restaurant is crowded. Let us use this opportunity." Juliet said and walked ahead, putting her phone into her cross bag.Jane followed quickly. She stared around and caught a glimpse of her boyfriend.

Just then, the man hung up on his call and turned to Juliet. "Good. I believe you have already been briefed on the locations you are to place the cameras. Your pay is thousand pounds and it is not negotiable. Go to any of the waiters and get it immediately you are done. And I never knew that ladies are equally good in this area. For the manager to choose you, you must be exceptional. And you are so beautiful... Leave your number with the waiters so that we can reach you easily in case of next time." He said.Juliet nodded, a serious expression plastered on her face."let us go, boys." The lanky man said and walked away with the hefty men.Juliet and Jane stared at each other. They couldn't believe their luck. So far, they were doing well. One funny thing was that, neither Juliet nor Jane had an idea of how to install the cameras. They took the two boxes and walked forward slowly, each wondering what was waiting in store for them. But they did not have to wait for long, for the kitche

The two slumped on the floor and remained silent. After a while, Jane stood up abruptly and brought out her phone from her bag."What are you up to?" Juliet asked her friend."I want to observe the room." Jane replied. The latter turned on her phone's flashlight and the dark room became partly illuminated. Jane walked round the room. There were dozens of tightly sealed boxes placed near the wall facing the door. A few inches above the lintel, were some cabinets on the the same wall."Ah... Girl, there is something bigger than us here." She said, turning to her friend.Juliet sprung up to her feet and equally activated her phone's flash light, walking towards her friend."Oh... Girl, even in my previous life, I was not a science student. Our survival depends largely on God, and proportionately on you, also. Let's check the boxes." Juliet said. The seal was strong, and their fragile fingers could not break them. Juliet brought out her bag and rummaged through it for her pen knife. Soon

The security chief eyed him."Don't you dare exclude yourself. We are in this together. If it wasn't because you went to town with that blonde of a waitress, the girls would be lying dead in the freezer now. But anyways, I did not tell Mr Sullivan or the manager. Only the kitchen women and the chef are aware. I will simply tell the cook that their bodies have been deposited in the freezer." He said. His companion sighed in relief."I see. You better keep your words. We would be done for, if Mr Sullivan finds out." He said. The two walked out of the storeroom after shutting the windows. They had barely covered a metre when they saw the chef. Without being asked, they hurried to her and the butler said with a serious face;"We have deposited the two bodies in the freezer. We shall now report to the accountant for our check of ten thousand dollars." He said. The cook smiled."Very well. I will also tell the women not to forget to keep their kidneys for Mr Sullivan." "Let's go." Steve said and they both stood up. "Waiter, bill please." Jim said. The waiter who had served them quickly approached them with a bill in his hand."I wonder if we have to pay for what we did not eat?" Steve asked rhetorically."We have to, though. We took the trouble in ordering for it in the first place." Jim said. The waiter narrowed his brows in suspicion. Had the two found out that what was in their rice was human meat and not chicken?"You two, why do you leave your meal untouched, and you have been here almost all day?" He asked curiously."As you can see, we ordered four plates of rice and chicken; two for us and two for our girlfriends. They told us that they would be here. We have not seen them till now. How can we have the heart to eat in their absence?" That wasa pensive Steve. The waiter smiled. He had thought otherwise. "In that case, I will receive only half the bill as the restaurant's way of compensating you." He said.Jim and Steve left the restaurant

I have to return and see that everything is set." He said, putting the money into her schoolbag."You are wasting my time." That was the driver's impatient voice."Sorry sir. Go ahead, and take care." "Your excellency, the plan is all my idea. Mr Sullivan came to me yesterday and demanded to know what I have on my mind, since I am the host of this year's talk show. I told him everything, and he jotted it down, promising me to connect me with the very best organisers. Hours went by today, he did not call me. I tried his line severally, but it was switched off. It was at the last minute that I went out and contacted these organisers and their teams. I have not even paid them. I will withdraw two thousand pounds later from the ATM and give it them for their services." He said. The president was shocked."This is very wrong, Jimmy. You are a student. Why do you still have to use thousands of pounds from your personal funds to organise the show after the outrageous amount you paid as school fees? The hosting of the talk show is largely the responsibility of the school. I will summon Mr Sullivan tomorrow and have him removed from his post if he fails to attend the show tonight." She sai

"So, what will happen if I reject you?" She asked."I will collect back the money from them of course." He said, and they laughed. He was really humourous."Ehen... And about the money; Why did she give you as much as ten thousand pounds? That is a huge amount." She said. It did not bother her to think about the possible sources of the president's income. As the president of the board, they knew that she must have several millions of pounds stalked away in her bank accounts. "She called me and asked how much I received from Mr Sullivan to sponsor the talk show.""Mr Sullivan?" Juliet asked, looking up a him."Yes, Mr Sullivan. The president told me that Mr Sullivan came to her office, requesting to withdraw as much as a hundred thousand pounds to fund this year's talk show. I told her that I funded the show from my own pocket. She was shocked, and gave me ten thousand pounds." He explained."I see." Juliet said, her clever eyes narrowing. "So, she actually allowed Mr Sullivan to go

Steve gave his friend a thumps up. But unknown to Juliet, or perhaps, it was what she anticipated, the duo of Jane and Jimmy had stopped running, and heard every inch of what she said - for she spoke almost too loudly, as if for their benefit.Juliet was startled when she heard her Jimmy's voice behind her - for setting all the circumstances aside, the latter was not aware that Jimmy was just behind her - but managed to maintain her composure. He wanted to know what she had just told Jim."Summarily, I said that I am happy he has spoken up about his feelings for me, and that i will give him a reply soon." She replied him.Jimmy scooped her off her feet and took her into the hall. Immediately they stepped on the stage, a loud cry rouse from the students and the coloured lights came on quickly, the disc jockey's soft music playing in the background. Jimmy held her hands and winked at her to do the gentleman dance with him."But I cannot dance it." She said, moving her body in unison to

The idiot would not see now, how well he was progressing."So, do you have a partner for today's show?" He asked, trying hard not to make his voice sound flirtatious."Ahh, I see. You don't know where to sit, isn't it? Jimmy is the one hosting the show, so you can as well, take the place of the brightest chap in the sciences department for the sixth form category.'' Juliet said.Jim hesitated for a while. That Jimmy! She always brought him up no matter what."That Jimmy," He said, "Is simply a demon. Just last term, I don't know how he managed to over throw me. I gave him a distance of nearly half a dozen points the other term." 'it was

The two friends stared at each other and then at their feets. Surely, even Jimmy or Steve were not aware of the mystery they were trying to unfold. Who had told the president about their mission? Why did she speak with such confidence as if she had a foreknowledge?"Your excellency, it could be that there was a mix up somewhere. We were at the restaurant, enjoying their new recipes of coconut rice and chicken." Jane said, and Juliet fought hard not to throw up.The president smiled, knowing fully well, what Juliet's uneasy expression meant."I won't press you two further, as it is already seven thirty four, and the show will begin at eight. Well, just know that I am on your side. The science master is involved in a major funding scandal worth several hundreds of thousands of pounds. I need side evidences to convince the council and subsequently the court, that he is up to no good, and should be handed over to the police." The president said. The two friends were surprised. Jimmy had approached her for the first time this year, to propose to her. What had his feelings for her being, previously? So, he was after something after all?Jane was quick in noticing her friend's disdainful expression. She stared at her intently."Hey, do not twist my words wrong. Jimmy might be in love with you truly. The only thing we are suspicious of, is his timing. But nevertheless, it could be that his timing is just a mere coincidence. Follow your heart, and believe me, you are going to have the spotlight in tonight's talk show. If you like, do not prepare yourself." She said. The four stylists who were in the spacious saloon stared at each other. The two were probably students of Reekfield's. They all knew about the school; it's expensive school fees, using of smartphones and laptops by students, their legal talks of relationships, their high sense of morality, their high development of intelligence and brain maturity, their expensive school meals, the ATM machine on the
