Chapter 111

I kept my legs moving, pushing forth and running at a full sprint even though I felt like I was about to reach the brink of exhaustion. Adrenaline coursed through my veins, propelling me forward as if every muscle was working in tandem with one another. The wind blew against my face, stinging my eyes yet not enough to distract me from reaching the end goal. I could feel the strain in my body as fatigue began to take hold but that only spurred me on further.

I am obligated to put an end to the chaos I started. If this continues, it could lead to a disaster, so I must take action before that happens. My mind is swirling with ideas of how to fix this mess, but none seem foolproof enough. Taking a deep breath, I try and focus on what needs done first.

I couldn’t see Azariel or his followers anymore, but I could feel their presence. The sky slowly lightened until the whole land of Dawn was illuminated in a gentle light. Its beauty filled my heart and I marveled at the sight before me. Ever
