Chapter 63

Nina was right, the ride across the snowy fields was both bumpy and cold. The wind hit my face like shards of ice slicing through my skin. My eyes watered making it difficult to see.

It was no use trying to make sense of where they were taking me, so, I simply just hold onto Silas tighter and close my eyes waiting for us to reach whatever it was that Alex wanted to show me.

When the great wolf finally did begin to slow, the snow was coming down thickly, making it difficult to see past the end of my nose. Any trace of paw prints were already covered back over as soon as he lifted his foot from the ground.
