'What I found most strange was the fact that uncle Wayne asked us if he could come in', when we got to the door', Landon said, her eyes narrowed, thoughtfully. 'It was as though he wanted us to invite him in'

'How's that odd?' Alexa asked.

'He brought us from school and opened the door and when he allowed us in before him, he stood at the door, waiting for us to invite him in!' It made no sense! He knows he is always welcomed.

'Maybe he didn't want to take your hospitality for granted, he was just being polite!' Alexa suggested, not seeing the great deal in it.

'I doubt that!' Landon said.

'Then why didn't you ask him his reasons?'' his mother asked.

'I did but he just smiled but said nothing and by the time he started playing games with us, I forgot about it. I just recalled it now!'

'Landon, forget about that. I see nothing strange about it. I told you so, yesterday!' Leigh said, brushing off her brother's anxiety.
