MATHIAS’S POV

“Do not try me, Kavan. You know what I am capable of,” I said, basically threatening him. “Can you please excuse me? I have an important meeting with Dax,” I added.

I left him there to meet Dax. “Tell Dax to meet me at my library right now,” I ordered one of the maids I saw. "Yes, sir,” she responded.I left and headed to my library; the library had always been my comfort area and zone. It was where I was able to think without any distractions and also to navigate through issues, providing solutions.

I heard a knock on the door and asked who it was. “Who is there?” I asked. “It is Dax, sir,” Dax responded. "Oh, Dax, you can come in,” I replied. He creaked the door open and came inside. “Welcome, take a seat,” I said. “Thank you, sir,” he said before sitting down.
