CHAPTER 120

MATHIAS'S POV

Torturing Mrs. Potts was not what I wanted. I wanted her to tell me the truth, and by the look of it, if I did not apply a bit of pressure on her.

She was hell bent on being loyal to Autumn and my son, Kavan. I did not know she had such a strong alias with them, but now that I was aware, I know what to do exactly.

I was going to move Autumn out of the manor to a private house where no one, not even Kavan, would know the location. I proceeded to sleep and just shrugged all the thoughts off my mind.

The sound of the birds chirping woke me up; the sun was already shining, and it was a beautiful morning. I requested to see Mrs. Potts that morning. I wanted to apologize for what I did last night.

Even though she deserved it, I felt like I should not have done that to her but to the real one who offended me, Autumn.

“Call Mrs. Potts for me,” I told one of the maids I saw at the manor's hall. "Yes, sir,” she said and left my presence.
