I let out a grunt as I pushed Victor off of me.

I glanced back at the front door and saw that Sir Dominic was already dragging Dorian inside, probably back to his cell.

Victor had tacked me out of the way just in time but it seems the arrow had grazed his left leg, a few inches below his knee. Dorian was never a good shot, thank goodness for that.

"You okay?" I asked as I pulled Victor to his feet.

"Yeah." He replied as he shook his left leg. "He barely got me."

I picked up my sword and wrapped both of my hands around it. Victor did the same before we turned around and pressed our backs to each others.

"I've finally payed my dues. Don't expect anything else form me." Victor commented as we assessed the attackers.

"You never owned me a thing, Brother." I replied before we pealed our backs off of each other and kept on attacking the intruders.

It took an entire hour or so for them to finally surrender.
