Each vein pulsating blood in your living body reacts to his presence and it's boiling with annoyance.
And yet, he stands there, the edge of his lips scornfully lifting in mirth.

Lycans display inhuman physical strength, speed, reflexes, endurance, and agility comparable to their vampire counterparts. These traits seem to apply to Lycans even when in human form.
Even in their human forms, Lycans also demonstrate other feats of superhuman strength, speed, and agility, such as catching crossbow bolts in midair, jumping extremely high, and overpowering both humans and vampires in physical combat. It is very likely that they can enter a state of hibernation and survive without blood or oxygen for centuries.
They possess enhanced senses of smell, hearing, and sight that are superior even to those of wolves, not just humans, and are also able to sense Vampires in close proximity to themselves.
Lycans can also use their claws and strength to scale sheer surfaces, having been seen to crawl along walls at great speed in pursuit of prey. They possess the ability to land on their feet without harm when falling from great heights. Their most unique ability is their ability to turn at will, though they usually turn at night.
The moon could only affect and forcibly transform a Lycan that had not yet learned to control their transformations, though they could use the moon's influence to change when weakened, such as when Lucian was restrained in silver for a day and escaped when the moon rose in the night sky.
Their transformations are quick and painless when they are in control but when the Lycan has not learned such control, the transformation is slow and painful, taking several minutes to finish instead of a few seconds like other Lycans.
They also possess superb physical resilience and remarkable regenerative abilities.
Jeongi taps the tip of your nose to grab your attention, whispering as the little TV show continues. "You know muffin cheeks, there was a time when these creatures freely soared the realm of magic. They were known to
help bring peace and healing in the land."As much as you loved watching Spongebob Squarepants, Jeongi was known to love his books of myths.
Your eyes widen in fascination. "Really?
He smiles, nudging
towards your other brother munching on some popcorn. "Yes, really. They made sure no one gets into fights. Just like how you always make sure I don't hit Yoonsi up.""Fighting is bad." You respond as a matter of fact, scrunching your face bitterly.
"I know." He says. "But unfortunately, one of them got into a fight."
The show no longer held your attention as you notice the sad expression on your usually smiling brother's face.
You didn't like seeing him sad. Maybe if you
let him continue his story he won't be sad anymore. "What happened?"He seemed to be in deep thoughts and you began to wonder why. Then he flashes his eyes to meet with yours, sighing. "Well. One of them found something on earth...You know what he found?"
You shook your head cutely, curiosity jolting like a current in your veins. Jeongi smiles and fondly taps your nose as he whispers.
"He found love."
Present
When they said they'd bring a sorcerer, you expected an old frail grandfather with a long grey-ash beard and a blue pointy dark blue hat. Maybe a wiggly stick too in his hand.
Not a gorgeous looking young man whose features seemed to be spawned by Aphrodite's fingertips herself.
Lionell Draziw is his name. A tall man with flawless skin, pink lips, and a pair of mesmerizing crystal blue eyes. He has two adorable dimples that puncture your heart every time he sends you a little smile.
You're a sucker for a man with dimples.
It's been a couple of minutes since he's appeared and the room had been filled with the constant flick of a page.
Lionell didn't appear with a pointy hat and a magical stick but he did come with a book.
"She's not a vampire. Obviously." The handsome man says, swiping through an old leathered book that's the size of his chest. Which is quite a size by the way. Something like that should belong at a history museum. "She's human."
Of course, you're not a vampire.
At this rate, you have two choices to pick from.
Either tell them what you really are, or they take their sweet time to figure it out themselves.
"But she healed herself." You watch as Dyan slice in-between the sorcerer and the book to scan through the pages like he owns it. "She can't be human. Half, I'll take it. But not just human. There's something we're missing."
The sorcerer rubs his forehead in exasperation, walking away from the vampire hybrid adamant for an answer he won't find in a book.
Aziel has been standing beside you the entire time, once in a while stealing glances. He looks away the second you catch him staring.
Now, what happened was that Dyan had told Lionell of a human who could heal faster than any powerful vampire and the guy just had to see it for himself to believe it. So with the help of his cousin Yvon, they formulated a plan.
It surprised you that they thought of the plan last month. Which basically means they've been aware of your abilities for quite some time now.
Talk about creepy. Yvon must've been the spy sent to keep you in check.
Pushing his lips back into a snarl, Dyan shuts the book before turning to face the sorcerer. As expected, he finds nothing that relates to you.
Yvon had been awfully quiet throughout the situation and you know exactly why. All those nervous ticks she's showing; fidgeting, sweating, trembling- it's because of Lionell.
When you asked if something was wrong, all she did was give you an assuring smile.
You can't blame her though.
Lionell emits this certain aura that can send a cold to slither down anyone's spine. His whole being screams power and intelligence and yet, you're surprised he still hasn't figured out what you are yet.
The eerie silence gets sliced into two when the sorcerer speaks. "I never said she was just human."
"Then what is she?"
"She's a hundred percent human." The blue-eyed man trails off, gnawing the bottom part of his lip before adding. "But she's also a hundred percent...mythical being."
He suddenly approaches you and sticks his hand out with a smile. "Excuse me, Miss."
Hesitantly, you give him your hand.
Lionell hums under his breath before giving you your hand back. "Just as I thought. She's a Lycan."
Now it was Aziel's turn to voice out his thoughts. "A Lycan? Didn't they go extinct centuries ago?"
Ignoring the latter, it's like a lamp had switched on inside Lionell as he lands a questioning gaze towards your direction. "You do know what you are right?"
"Um.."
Should you tell them? I mean, if they find out you knew all along, they might hate you for putting them in all of these hassles when you could've just said something.
Then again. It's not like you wanted to be dragged here in the first place.
Let them hate.
"Yeah." You trail off, finding the curtains suddenly so intriguing.
What kind of color texture is that?
Peach?
Yvon blanches at the sight of Dyan's fury emerging, whereas Aziel's features coils in utter amusement.
"You knew all this time." The blond says through gritted teeth. "But you didn't bother saying anything. Can't you see we're trying to help yo-"
"Oh bite me." You interrupt with an eye roll. "I never asked for your help."
And you got him right there. Dyan pokes the inside of his cheek.
It's not like they wanted to bring you here either. But curiosity got the best of them.
You can almost trace the tension swirling around the room and it was getting unbearable.
Yvon's already admitted that this was all a set-up just so they could get you here. So in reality, you're really not wanted here.
"I think you should bring me back."
You left three over-protective brothers on earth who wouldn't think twice to kill you if you don't answer your phone. The thought alone sends a freezing shiver to slither down your back.
"You're not leaving." It's Aziel's this time talking beside you, arms crossed over his chest. He does this thing of raising an eyebrow up, almost in a cocky manner that makes your blood boil.
"And why not?"
He shrugs, fabric scrunching from the motion of his lean shoulders. "Because I said so."
"You're not leaving." It's Aziel this time talking beside you, arms crossed over his chest. He does this thing of raising an eyebrow up, almost in a cocky manner that makes your blood boil."And why not?"He shrugs, fabric scr
"But my brothers-"Lionell cuts you off. "Don't worry about your brothers. They know of the plan and are actually on board with it."It takes you about thirty seconds to completely understand Lionell's words. You didn't happen to hear him wrong right? "I'm sorry what?"Lionell blinks his eyes and snaps his fingers again resulting in the book disappearing with a poof. "You're talking about Jeongi, Yoonsi, and Haru right?""How do you know them?"Lionell opens his mouth only to close it when Yvon sends him a glare from your side.Instead, he shows you a dimpled smile. "It's a long story actually. I'll have them explain to you themselves. It seems like my work here is done. I best be going now. It was a pleasure meeting you, Calla."You offer Lionell a hard stare.
Stuffing your face against the pillow, you hum loudly. For some reason, Yvon doesn't think the response is satisfactory. You're offended by that but choose to let it slide. You wonder what time it is. When the volcano erupted, it was during the afternoon. You were probably out for five hours before getting auctioned and once you arrived in the palace, you blacked out again. All those countless times you collapsed resulted in you losing awareness of time. It's probably late afternoon right now. I mean, you can still see that it's daylight outside."I'm serious, Calla.""I heard you."A Few Hours Later
Dyan nods his head in understanding. "I understand what you mean. You're a Lycan after all. Your brothers were just trying to protect you."You scoff absently. "I guess so."How does feeding you vegetables protect you exactly? Instead of voicing that out, you just shove in another spoonful of this world's yummy delicacy into your mouth.Yvon nibbles the bottom of her lip before placing another chicken leg on your plate, forcing a smile to show on her face. "Here. Eat more Calla. If you want, I can have the chiefs cook something similar for your midnight snacks.""Sounds like a plan." You wink at her.Later That Night. It was silent and everything that was alive in this realm had finally shut down. Slowly setting the blanket aside, you step out of
Trees surround your environment but that doesn't stop you from running towards the forest. At this rate, it'll take them until daylight for them to find out you've escaped.Where do go from here though? You've thought ahead of that. If a wizard like Lionell exists in this realm, then they're bound to know how to go back to earth. You give yourself a nod.Your mission from here on out is to find a wizard.A roar. And not a pleasant one at that. It's like a wail of a thousand demons. The wind blows harsher, stronger, and it's getting colder. When you look up, it's as if the trees are devouring you. You can't see the moon. There's no light and darkness engulfs you. But you can definitely hear something. And whatever that thing is, it's coming closer. You feel your s
But why does it seem like something's preventing you from recalling the events of last night?Yvon slides her hand up and down your spine as if to comfort you. "I've prepared you varieties of clothes you know. They're in the closet if you wanna check them out."Forcing a smile to display across your lips, you look up to your best friend and say. "After breakfast.-Aziel didn't show up at the break fast table so Yvon ended up explaining that he had to leave to check on the borders.Whatever that meant.Dyan had left afterward saying he had to take care of some things.Breakfast was fantastic as always and you were given the permission to roam around freely after that. But before you could start your journey, your best friend had pulled you back
Yvon faces you. "How did you know that?"Humming, you lean back and reply. "I used to watch a lot of sports with my brothers. Basketball, tennis. But mostly Soccer. ""But Calla. This isn't any of those."As if that information was new to you, you pause a bit before nodding your head. "I guess you're right.""Where are you going?""Back inside." You respond to Yvon before heading in first.Yvon decided to stay and watch the men training for a few more minutes. With a hum vibrating from your throat, you slide your scrunchie down before tying your hair up again. Every now and then, you notice individuals popping up from left to right in the hallway using magic. It amazes you, to be honest. After that hectic walk, you had to rely on Yvon for support since you felt like your legs could snap off at any minute. And that's saying something given what you really are. That girl wasn't lying when she said give be in the training grounds when you're not busy. The sound of swords clashing against each other and heat radiating off fireballs is all you can see, feel and hear. And you really dont want to be here. Not at all. It was fun watching it from a far but it's a whole different story when you're standing between chaos and havoc that can potentially kill you. Dylan's in the middle observing it all and the looks on his face shows nothing but disappointment. And it's something you can agree with. What even are these so called worriers doing? Although today you were told to watch and observe, you've noticed how their positions and stances were weak. Again. You so it the first time when you were with Yvon sitting up there at the bleachers gazing down, but now that you're here, it's clear as day where they're going room. You've been standing at the side, where theres a bench. And for the past hour of just watching and judging, you've missed gett
Dinner time had passed by in a snap for some reason and as soon as Yvon opens the door to your room and ushers you in, she begins pacing around like a person in so much stress. Even from a distant, you can practically see the mess of thoughts swirling inside her mind right now. Whatever she's thinking about, you have a feeling it has something to do with why she had Aziel pinned down to the ground moments ago. There's a hint of sympathy you felt for the person after seeing him in that situation. Although he could have easily swipe Yvon off of him, he chose go stay still and let her have her way. Throughout dinner time, the latter had remained quiet. Dyan however was the total opposite. He went on talking about the activities he accomplished today and it looked like it was a usual thing for him. You settle on your bed, keeping your gaze planted on the pacing girl. If this was a comic book, there would he a ginormous question mark floating on top of your head. You wonder what's got he
You woke up an hour later. So as you pull yourself up a bit, the sight of the moon comes into display from the window. With squinted eyes, you drag your gaze around the room like you're searching for something. But in reality, you're really not. Suddenly, your body feels light. Which is a good thing. You groan a little, trying to pull all of your consciousness up into the surface. It feels like you've had enough rest already. With fists planted above the bed, you haul yourself up until you're sitting up. Your hair's a mess and you think there's a patch of dried saliva beside your lips. Now that's disgusting. Either way, there's a bathroom for a reason. Yvon brought you some clothes to use. Might as well put them all into good use. Extending your arms, you let out a little groan as you stretch. After long hours spent on walking around, that's one of the best sleep you've ever had in your life. Using your fingers, you drag the stray strands of your hair away and slide out of the mattr
