Two paintings and two china figurines had already been auctioned off within 30 minutes of their arrival.

Yvonne appeared uninterested throughout the auction, only raising her paddle three times in a row when Monica and Kayla bid on a vase. She had no interest in the vase; she was simply trying to raise the price. Since she'd had the bad luck of running into them, wouldn't it be a waste of opportunity if she didn't cause some trouble for them?

As the auction drew to a close, the final item up for auction was a rare Victorian vase, glazed rose gold. Yvonne squinted her eyes. "This one's not bad. The starting price should be around three million dollars."

As expected, the auctioneer announced the starting price. It was exactly as she had predicted. Stephen was slightly surprised and gave Yvonne a glance. "How do you know the price? Have you done some research?"

"I know a little about antiques," Yvonne replied nonchalantly. Her eyes were fixed on the stage, determined to win the bid.
