Yvonne parked the car and walked over to Stephen. "If you're going to ask about that man, you can save it. I have nothing to explain."

"Alright, I won't ask."

Yvonne was speechless. Stephen's willingness to concede baffled her. He'd been fuming at her on the phone earlier. Why the sudden change?
