The Cargo Ship Docks

2024-10-29 19:42:56We quietly move along the leaves to get to the forest. Once we were at the forest we broke into a full sprint to the docks. Finally we slow at the edge of the forest where the docks are.
“Alright guys, we need to get into Blue Jay inconspicuously. What is going to happen is we are going to get into the box that says Dresses For Royals and camp their till we are on board under deck. How we are going to get off is we are going to get in the box that says Hay For Farms. Once they put the box down and go back to get more, we get out and sprint till we are far enough away to look normal. Got the plan?” I say. Bella and Raven nod, they know most of the overall plan. But on the other side Leo and Anthony look skeptical.“Do they check the boxes before??” asks Anthony.“No they have already done that a hour ago. The ship leaves in 25 minutes we need to get in the box.” I reply. They all nod in agreeance.Quickly Leo runs out and gets in the box. Anthony makes sure it is clear then runs out beside the box. I push Bella out first. She looks at me like I am crazy, then shakes her head. ‘GO’ I motion, ‘There won’t be enough time’ I motion afterward. She looks then sprints to Anthony. He picks her up and puts her in the box. I motion for Raven to go. She nods, then looks, then sprints to Anthony. He repeats the same action he did with Bella. Now it’s my turn. I see the lights coming there is only so much time. I go for it sprinting like my life depended on it. I motioned for Anthony to get down and get ready to throw me. He gets down right when I am there. I put my right foot in his hand and my hands on his shoulders. I push off of him with all my strength and he pushes me up like I weigh nothing. I get in the box. It was very spacious in contrast from what it looked like from the outside. I reach my hand out for Anthony. He grabs my hand with the strong grip of his. I pull him in just in time before the guy shines the light where he was just at.“ Thank you Anthony for being brave and liable outside the box, and thank you Leo for helping us get in safely.” I say once the crewman has passed. The boys looked very proud of themselves in general.“You can call me Tony, Tonia.” Anthony says going red.“Thank you Tonia for the complement.” Leo says pleased with himself. I think they have never been complemented before.“Now do you know why Tonia asked you to come with us??” Raven asked snidely. The boys were surprised at how the tone of the conversation changed so quickly.“Because she wanted more protection than just two maids?” Leo replied. Both Bella and Raven looked offended.“That’s not it at all. You knew we were going to sneak out of the castle and I couldn’t trust you to not tell my father if we left you behind. Also it is nice to have someone that knows how to use a sword and a shield to protect us.” I say intervening before a fight begins. Then we hear voices.“Hey Nate!!!! Come help yall fellow mate out and carry this box with me into this mighty all pretty ship!!!” said a crewman“K!” another crewman yelled back.We all fall silent. Scared that we are going to get found I shiver slightly with Raven and Bella. The box shakes then lifts. It wobbles as it goes up. There was a lot of grunting then finally we started moving. The box tilts a little; I know we are going up the ramp. A few minutes later we get set down. We sit still and quiet to listen if they are going to do anything else. Then I hear footsteps going up the stairs, we all let out a breath.“Are you cold Raven??” asked Leo. Raven shook her head.“Just a little scared of getting found.” she replied.“Tonia, Bella?? Are you cold??” Anthony asked. We shook our heads. I snuggle down in a sheepskin fabric I found. I jolt up; I need to give my companions something warm to. There are 5 sheepskins. Just enough for everyone. I pass the first sheepskin to Bella; she took it gratefully and snuggle down in it. Next I passed one to Raven; she took it and went to sleep. Then I passed one to Tony and Leo; they both took one and wrapped themselves up but didn’t go to sleep like the girls did. Finally I took mine and snuggled in. I couldn’t sleep. So I waited with the boys awake to move boxes. Then I hear“Set er loose!!”We were finally moving.Related chapters

When we were on water for about 25 minutes I shook awake Raven and Bella.“We need to go to the box that says Hay For Farms then we can sleep until morning” I say in a whisper. They all nod. Slowly and carefully I make my way out of the box. I left the sheepskin cause it has to stay in the box of clothing. Once I was out of the box I crouch down and wait for the rest of my crew. I wake to the sound of a sailer calling “LAND AHOY!!” immediately I look around everyone was asleep. Bella fell asleep on watch duty. I shake awake the others but putting my finger to my lips so they’d stay quiet. As Raven starts to rub her eyes to wake herself up, we hear“Ok Britt, The box we will start with is Hay For Farms to get that out of the way, then we will have to get out all the other boxes slowly so we don’t have to do a lot of boxes.” a sailer said.“I agree with you Tindi.” said Britt I quess.“Alright then. Let's get started.” I think Tindi said.Quiet as ever we sat in the box full of yellow grainy hay. Soon later the box we were in got hoisted in the air. It started to move. The movements were quite jerky at first, then later got in a smooth motion. After 2 more minutes the box seemed extremely hot and had about no more air in it. Finally we get set down and I made sure I heard the slow scuffing of the sailors boots. I slowly opened the top of the box to see it’s day

As soon as we finished breakfast and payed 20 gold coins; which was overpay; the royal family of Anera came into the restaurant and everyone stopped talking and kneeled. Bella, Raven, Leo, and Tony knowing the drill kneels to the royal family. But I do not. They look around the room and their eyes settle on me.“Why are you still standing young girl?” The king asked “It is disrespectful to us.” his three sons shot angry glares at me and his wife looked at me in disgust.“I shall not bow down to anyone no higher nor lower than me. I shall show all respect in which is needed for you do not know who I am and can not and will not tell me what to do, when to do it, and how to do it. We had been walking for about an half hour when we came across the woods we were supposed to go in but it has been an hour since the meeting with the royal family.“Honestly Raven, how much longer??”I complain. I’ve hated walking since I was 13. It’s such a waste of time.“A little longer.” she replies, “She hates her house being easy to find.”As we kept walking and I kept up my constant complaining in my head I hear a bird caw. I run as fast as I can into the woods hoping no one is following me. What seems after 20 minutes of running I slow to a stop in front of a stream. I sit and take out a paper, quill, and ink. Alexander starts to pull me toward his parents, but his grip slips when the crowd pushes around us. I look around me trying to find familiar faces but can’t. I slowly start to panic. What if my friends left me here because they didn’t like me or care for me at all? I went into a full blown panic attack. While I was trying to work through the panic attack, I didn’t realize that I had stopped walking and the ballroom had been emptied and doors had been locked. I looked around, and then froze as still as a statue.“You know, you are more trouble than your worth, Princess. Did you know that?” said a dreadingly familiar voice. I slowly turned around to see Sir Camelot right behind me. My full blown panic attack went even higher. And I went out of control. My body was in auto pilot, I was shaking so much my teeth were chattering, I was crying till I couldn’t see straight, and sounds of hysteria were ripping from my chest. It felt as if wind was flying through my hair, but it wasn’t cold at all. The hands the were on my waist slowly slide around me till I was in the males arms and they tightened their hold on me. My body was relaxing carefully as if there was any sign of danger I would go back into the full scale panic attack. I felt warm, I felt a sense of belonging - then I blacked out.“Tonia?? Can you hear me?” A ruff male voice startled me awake. I didn’t recognize it. Instead of answering I decided to do a full body check. Head… check, arms… check, legs and torso… check and check. I open my eyes and stare into a worried pair of forest green eyes. “Wh - who are you?” I managed to stutter out. The worry in the forest green eyes lesson. The male pulls back and reveals most of his face. “Come on, Tonia, you know who I am.” the ruff voice of this male. And indeed I did, it was Tony.“Tony? Is that you? What happened to your voice? Her mother said he died right after she was born.” The blood from the prince’s face slowly drained until he looked white as a ghost. “What was her name??” He asked hoarsely.
