Shameless Man

A few hours pass and I finally finish my daily tasks. Soon it was time for lunch and Kadachi comes out of his office in big strides. He stops next to me and I look up at him awkwardly.

"Come eat lunch with me, I want to show you this new restaurant that just opened."

I look back at my purse then back up at him. He seemed to know what I was worried about before I could even voice it.

"I'm covering the bill so don't worry about the cost let's go."

(Kadachi seems very nice, I can't even imagine the ruthless side that everyone else has spoken about.)

I nod and stand up. Just as I do I feel Kadachi's hand fall on my lower back and immediately tense up feeling uncomfortable. He had begins to lead me out

(His hand is on my back...What to do...what do I say?)

'Kadachi's Thoughts'

(It seems she doesn't like to be physically touched. Maybe I should hold off on being to physical for right now till she can get used to me.)

'Back to Kairi'

I feel him take his hand away as he walks alongside me. I silently sigh in relief as we continue on.

(It seems he's good at reading people's silent reactions as well, maybe he's not as ruthless as he's made out to be.)

After going across the street we arrive at a very fancy restaurant. Upon entering we are immediately taken to what seems to be the best seat in here. It was sectioned off from the rest and was on the second level of the building. We sit across from each other and read the menus. I go over mine and can't help looking at all of the prices.

(The food here is so expensive, I don't know how to feel about this...)

I peek over my menu to see Kadachi staring at me intently.

"If you want I'll order for you?"

He smirks as he talks and I get flustered at his response.

"I uh...Sure. But I'm allergic to-"

Kadachi suddenly interrupts me.

"Shrimp and clams I know."

Stunned by how he knew I just nod too embarrassed to bring it up.

(How did he know I was allergic to those? I don't remember ever telling anyone and even my biological family would forget.)

After ordering we had small discussions about work and about ourselves. It was interesting to learn some things about him, He liked to play basketball, and had many hobbies and interests.

As we're about to get up a young lady seems to have appeared out of nowhere. She has Long blood hair, Light blue eyes, and tan skin. She wore an exquisite and revealing red dress. She was stunning from my point of view. She gave one look at me then looked at Kadachi. If hearts could be eyes then that would be what you could see from hers once she looked at him.

"Kadachi! How are you doing today?"

Kadachi answered in a cold yet nonchalant tone as he spoke.

"I'm good Ms. Karina and you?"

Karina smiles innocently but one could tell she was not as nice as she displayed to be.

"I am fine, who is this young lady? She's...pretty!"

My face went rigid at her bad acting and I was about to stand up to leave but Kadachi grabbed my hand from across the table while smirking at Karina.

"Well I'm glad you asked, Karina this is my wife Kairi. Kairi this is a family friend of ours Karina fu."

I smile politely at her but I could tell she was royally mad.

(Is she...Jealous?)

"It's nice to meet you, Ms. Karina."

(The way this woman looks at me makes me feel like I'm about to be eaten alive. I should get out of here soon.)

I kept my nice composure. While Karina quickly switches back to her unusual modest self.

"Uh. You as well..."

Just then I hear a familiar voice ring out behind me that immediately sent chills throughout my body. It was a familiar voice but one I hadn't heard in at least 3 years. A voice I hoped to never hear again.

"Karina there you are, Darling lets get back to your parents-"

We lock eyes and I immediately look away when he stops speaking mid-sentence. The man who did awful and unspeakable things to me because my biological family was in debt to him was standing right in front of me. I bite my bottom lip in nervousness.

He still looked the same as before too. Nicely styled brown hair, lightly tanned skin, and ominous dark black eyes. He looked like he had gotten a bit buffer but the voice that I could never forget was the exact same.

(He's...Kian Shi)

"Darling what were you saying?"

Kian clears his throat and I could feel his glare as he spoke.

"Oh sorry, Your parents would like you to return home. they said it's very important."

I could see Kadachi side glancing at me as they spoke, He draws his hand away from mine and stands up to greet Kian.

"Mr. Kian Shi I presume? I'm Kadachi Sheng it is a pleasure to meet you, I have heard a lot about your company these past few years, You seem to have a lot going for you!"

Kian shakes Kadachi's hand and greets him back.

"You as well Mr. Sheng. If you would like to cooperate with us in the future feel free to reach out to us!"

Kadachi smirks. He holds his hand out to me and I look up at him before taking it, he helps me up to my feet and places his arm around my waist. This time it didn't make me feel uncomfortable but instead, it made me feel secure. I gladly accepted this not taking the chance to look towards Kian as they spoke. Instead I looked at Karina who looked livid as she seen Kadachi's affection towards me.

"Well, that would have to be up to my partner in business, My lovely wife Kairi here."

Kian chuckles amusingly and I finally look up at him. He looked down at me with a smile that looked to fake in my point of view. I stayed silent.

"So this is your new wife? She's a pretty one, I bet a lot of men would love to have a beautiful wife such as yourself. You got a good one, Mr. Sheng."

I thought of the many names I wanted to say to him but knew I couldn't.

(Dog, Rascal, Pervert, shameless fake man! If I could get my hands on you id surely cut off every manly part you have and let you bleed out!)

I take a silent deep breath, Kadachi tightens his grip on me and I look up at him. I could tell he was annoyed by him as well, And the aura emanating off of him felt cold and murderous. Luckily it was being directed to Kian it seemed.

"Thank you, Mr. Kian, I am indeed very blessed to have a wife as beautiful and virtuous as Kairi here. Have a good day and maybe we can talk some more in the future."
