Jenn's POV

"Talk about what?"I looked over to see Lucien standing behind me, making me wonder how he got there so fast.

"Nothing important," I said, standing from the bench and walking over to him. "You made it here quicker than I expected." Lucien wrapped his arms around me and pulled my body close to his. Then he put his head by my neck and inhaled my scent.

"I was already on my way while I was talking to you. When we hung up, I was close to the park," Lucien replied.

"Oh," I said, and Lucien looked over at me and then at Stacy. "I need to talk with the two of you about sneaking off without your guards. Stacy, you are the sister of the twin Alphas, and it is important for you to stay safe. You know that Stephen and Steven have some enemies out there that would do anything to hurt them, even if that meant hurting you," Lucien said, then looked at me.
