Four Days Later

Jenn's POV

"I woke up to an empty bed. Lucien and I have been sleeping in the same room together since my heat started. I could hear the water running in the bathroom and knew Lucien must be taking a shower. I had been waking up these last four days wrapped in Lucien's arms. I didn't like waking up without him in bed with me.

It had been Four days since Angela gave me the herb to stop my heat, and it took until last night for my heat to be completely gone. After drinking the herb, the pain from the heat started to fade slowly, and the pain had vanished last night before I went to sleep. Lucien asked Angela why the heat didn't end two days after I had taken the herb, and she told me it was because of our strong bond and how badly we wanted to complete the mating process.
