Chapter 142

Jennifer's POV

"What is going on out there?" I asked Tanya. I knew something terrible had to be happening. Tanya wouldn't let Stacy or me leave her room.

"Everything is alright, Sweetie. My sons, Gwen and Claire, had to take care of something important," Tanya said. Sean walked into to room and looked at Tanya.

"Stacy and Jenn, why don't you two go to Stacy's room and rest," Tanya said, and we headed to Stacy's room. I went around the corner and listened to what Tanya and Sean were saying.

"Did they stop Alpha Kane," Tanya asked

"Yes, they are on their way back home. My dad was a part of this. He has been working with Alpha Kane for years. I should've none," Sean said. I could tell he felt terrible for what his father had done.

"It isn't your fault. When you became Alpha, you corrected a lot of his mistakes. You didn't know he was a part of all this nonsense," Tanya said

"I never should have let him come back here. I knew he wasn't a good man. I am going to wait for them to come back
