"I am sorry, but Alpha Kane isn't here. I will let him know you came to see him when he returns," One of the Pack Warriors said

"I know he is here," Steven growled and pushed the Warrior to the ground. "You will take us to where he has our mate."

"Steven calm down," Gwen said, and Steven and I looked at her,

"Are you serious, Gwen? Alpha Kane has our Mate somewhere. I am not leaving without her," I growled.

"He might not be inside," Gwen said, then began to mind-link Steven and me. I texted Aunt Alicia and told her what was going on. She said she would meet us in the woods close to the border," Gwen said through the link. I had forgotten she had come to our Pack. I would have told her to go with us if I had thought about it.

"We will be leaving," Gwen said, and we went into the woods.

"Where is she?" I growled. It had been thirty minutes, and Alicia still hadn't arrived.

I think Gary is letting Kane think he is helping him. He will end up helping Gwen instead. Plus Kane may be holding Sonya hostage making Gary cooperate with him.
