Alpha Kane's POV

I can't believe those bastards wouldn't let me go with them. I needed to get my hands on that Red Wolf. I never should have called her Mates and let them know she was at my Pack. I should have let them think she was dead. It wouldn't have worked because she was already fully mated with one of her Mates when I met her. Now she is fully mated with them all. I thought acting like the good guy would make them trust me, and they would stay longer in my Pack, but Alpha Stephen didn't trust me.

I was pissed off when I found out they killed Turner and Norman. They had been my trusted men in finding the Red Wolf. Thank the Goddess Turner never told Gary I was the one they had been working for. If he had told him, I am sure Claire and her Mates would be coming for me.
