Claire's POV

I woke up hearing the sound of beeping. The smell of antiseptic took over my senses. I immediately knew I was in a hospital room.

"Where am I?" I thought to myself. I could feel a little pain in my neck, more like a cramp or something. It didn't feel like a werewolf had just bit into it.

"We are at the Silver Crest Pack, Little Human," I heard Cara say.

"Cara, thank God you are okay," I said happily. I was so worried about her after the Rogue bit us.

"I am so sorry, Little Human. I should have listened to you when you told me to run. I thought I could take them, but I was wrong," Cara said. I could hear the sadness in her voice.

"Cara, it is okay, but you can't do that again. We have just started training and aren't as good as those Rogues out there. We have to be smart next time."

"I know. I promise if we get in trouble again, I will think logically before reacting," Cara said.
