Chapter 114

Gary's POV

I woke up with a painful headache. I felt around to feel that I was in bed alone. When I sat on the bed, my head began hurting even more. It was a throbbing headache, something I had only felt once. When I was younger, one of the students at my school thought it would be funny to put wolfsbane in the food in the cafeteria. I tried to feel my wolf, but he seemed still sleeping.

Wanting to find Sonya, I stood from the bed. Before I could leave the room, I noticed a note on the nightstand. I picked it up and was shocked when I read it. There was no way Sonya would leave me. I looked around the room and saw most of her things missing.

I ran out of the room and saw Turner and Norman sitting at the dining room table, drinking coffee. "You have been asleep all day. I tried to wake you up, but you wouldn't get up," Turner said

"Did any of you see Sonya?' I asked

"NO, not since dinner. Why?" Turner asked

"It seems she has left. She left a note saying she can't stay here," I said an
