"Grandma?" said Leora softly with her eyes blinking at the glare. She rubbed both eyes and then yawned.
"What's the matter, Grandma?" she asked confused.
"I already reminded you earlier, Leora," Eleanor replied, looking resentfully at Leora.
"Reminded of what?" asked Leora puzzled by the question.
"Close the window of the room," Eleanor said with a resounding. Leora just smiled at that.
"I'm sorry, Grandma. I felt very hot just now, so I just wanti it open, like that," she said.
"But it turned out that I fell asleep. What a fool," Leora muttered, looking at Eleanor with regret. Eleanor didn't get to heart to scold her grandsdaughter. She looked at Leora's study desk that full of book piles. Of course, Leora was too tired for studying just now. Her grandmother smiled at the sight of her.
"Never mind, Leora. Next time don't forget anymore," Eleanor said. She immediately walked out of Leora's room. But suddenly Eleanor turned her around. She walked quickly in the direction of Leora.
"What's wrong, Grandma?" asked Leora puzzled.
"Is there anything you missed?" she asked again. Eleanor didn't answer her, she walked closer to Leora. Slowly Eleanor sniffed her nose against Leora's face.
"Grandma, what are you doing?" asked Leora in surprise. She didn't expect that her grandmother was sniffing like that.
"There's something weird," Eleanor muttered confused. She looked at Leora suspiciously.
"What's the matter, Grandma? Talk something to me, please. Don't make me confuse like this," Leora said. She knew her grandmother very well. If there is something suspicious, grandma usually always tells her.
Eleanor looked at Leora in doubt. But finally she sat on the edge of his granddaughter's bed. Eleanor grasped Leora's fingers.
"There's something grandma has to tell you, Leora," Eleanor said with a serious face. Leora watched her intently. She nodded her head.
"So grandma has been looking after you so tight because you are a girl who has holy blood," Eleanor said, looking at Leora. The girl looked at Eleanor in confusion.
"What do you mean, Grandma?" asked Leora later.
Eleanor then began to tell the history of their family who inherited the holy blood for generations. This sacred blood is the blood indispensable to the vampire family. They need this holy blood for the survival of their offspring. There aren't many vampire families left, but they definitely exist and are always looking for Leora's whereabouts. Because only a handful of people still have this sacred bloodline.
Although it is heavy and difficult to understand, but Leora tries to understand what her grandmother is telling her. She nodded and listened to what Eleanor said.
"So, how do I know if that person is a vampire or not?" asked Leora. Eleanor sighed deeply.
"Can't be exposed to the sun. Even if he can, he won't stand it too long. The power will be absorbed and can even burned," Eleanor replied.
"How if I'd have met him in a shady place?" asked Leora again.
"If you encounter all the strangeness that is not commonly possessed by humans. It could be that he is a vampire," Eleanor replied, looking at her granddaughter. Leora nodded in understanding. She also tried to remember who would have that such a characteristic.
"Yes, never mind. You can continue to sleep now," Eleanor said as she stood up. Shee immediately walked out of Leora's room.
Leora was pensive in her room. Her mind kept turning. Suddenly, Leora remembered the fierce lecturer. That's right, Elmer.
"He seems to fit the picture Grandma gave me earlier," Leora muttered silently in her heart.
"He can move very fast. It's even like flying."
"He can also hear my voice inside my heart."
"Is he really a vampire?" asked Leora curiously. Every scene she remembered instantly.
"That's right, none of that could have been done by an ordinary human being," Leora said softly.
Leora lay herself on the bed while continuing to think about Elmer. A mysterious fierce man. That's the nickname Leora gave him now. Finally, Leora fell asleep. Because she thought too much about Elmer, she dreamed about that guy!
***
As the days usually, Leora went to campus in a hurry, again. Not because afraid for being late but today Leora is leaving earlier than usual. She just wanted to start the lesson quietly. The first schedule is Mr. Elmer's class. The Mysterious Fierce Lecturer Class. Leora wanted to confirm if he was indeed a vampire.
The class that always noisy suddenly calmed down. It was so quiet so that the sound of the lecturer's footsteps was heard in the ears of all the students.
"Good morning!" he greeted coldly and expressionlessly.
"Good morning, Mr. Elmer," all the students replied together.
Elmer nodded and began to take out his book. Without saying much, he began to discuss a topic of discussion. All the disciples took notes and listened quietly. Likewise with Leora. She didn’t write the lessons, but make a note of the strangeness that she saw from Elmer's figure.
"What are you doing, Leora?" asked Ruby in a whisper. She looked at Leora's note. Of course Ruby was very surprised when she read it. There's not a sentence about the lesson there. Just scribbles with disheveled writing. Ruby wasn't sure that Leora could even read it again after that.
"Leora," she called softly.
"Hm," Leora replied as she wrote a word.
"Sharp?" asked Ruby as she read the writing. Leora nodded slowly.
"His gaze, his talk, all sharp right?" replied Leora.
"You're just looking for a trouble," Ruby muttered softly. Leora turned to look at Ruby and smiled faintly.
"Hey you!" called Elmer suddenly. Everyone looked in the direction he was pointing.
"Can you repeat again what I had explained just now?" asked Elmer, looking at Leora fiercely. Ruby gasped at that.
"Damn it, why should it also be Leora who is appointed," Ruby said silently without daring to turn to look at Leora. How could Leora possibly explain what was explained earlier if she hadn't noticed what was explained by Elmer at all?
All the college students looked at Leora who stood up and walked slowly to the front of the classroom. She read the writing on the blackboard. Leora turned her around. She is now facing the direction of the college student. All student are waiting with their chest flutter. It's nothing, because if Leora can't give a perfect description, other students will be appointed to help her. And not a single student wants to be in that position.
Leora greeted everyone in front of her. Elmer thought that it was just her lip service to buy time. He motioned her to begin immediately. Leora nodded and started talking.
Leora is indeed different than other student. Of course, because she has superior human descendants. Not only because she has a holy blood, but she also has abilities above the normaly human being generally. Only listen once and she will remember forever. Only reading once and she will also keep it in her mind. All the things that were seen, heard, felt and sniffed by her, though only once must have been well remembered.
And that's how it happened. Without any difficulty Leora can do what Elmer asks. It wasn't the praise that was earned, but Elmer's sharp gaze that felt like it was hitting her. Suddenly Leora felt that her legs were very heavy to step on. She looked at her leg that can’t be moved at all. When she raised her head, Leora was very surprised by what was in front of her.
Leora raised her head and saw Elmer already standing there. She immediately got up and nodded respectfully. I don't know why this time Leora feels that it's better to just obey what the lecturer said."Are you very smart so you could do whatever you want in my class?" asked Elmer coldly. All the students just keep silent. Leora, who originally wanted to be quiet, became annoyed"What have I done in your class hours, Sir? Do you think that I made trouble?" asked Leora as she returned Elmer's gaze."I stayed in my seat and took notes on what I want to be written," Leora continued. Elmer laughed sarcastically. Suddenly he showed Leora's notebook that was in his left hand."What are you taking notes? What kind of summary is this?" asked Elmer as he showed Leora's writings to all the students in the class. Everyone was stunned to see it."It's crazy. This lecturer is really crazy!" whispered Ruby silently in her heart."Ah, Leora is crazy too. She already knew that this lecturer was very f
"I may indeed be old, but my spirit and soul are still young. Very young," Elmer said softly. This made Leora speechless. She didn't expect that the fierce lecturer could speak so softly. Her heart suddenly burst into a tight throat."What's this all about?" asked Leora who suddenly became misbehaving. Elmer looked at her tenderly, so different with the cold gaze he usually showed."I don’t realize that he could also be this gentle," Leora said silently in her heart. But the next moment Elmer had returned to staring coldly."I'll leave you now, Sir," Leora said. Elmer just nodded without looking at Leora again. It's not because he is arrogant, but Elmer also feels the same way as Leora. A warmth spread in his body again."If you were the girl I was looking for all along, I would never let you go again, Leora," Elmer muttered as he watched Leora from behind the window of his room. That's how it happened. Since then Leora has become more often seen with Elmer, the fierce lecturer. Altho
Sean, who also in the lecturer's room, noticed Elmer's behavior. His eyes were red with anger. He saw clearly the expression shown by Elmer when Leora left."Just watch out if you take my Leora from me," Sean muttered irritably. He looked at Leora who was walking fast. Sean then walked up to her. In a short while, Sean's pace had already caught up with Leora's pace."Ah, you just startled me, Sean," Leora said when she found out that Sean had already walked beside her."I saw you in the room just now," Sean said."Oh," Leora muttered shortly. They walked into the elevator with the other college students. Sean looked at Leora with a curious look."What's the matter?" asked Leora, who was stared at by Sean like that."What's the matter with you. Why are you like this now, Leora?" asked Sean curiously in a fairly loud voice."Ssh!" hissed Leora irritably. Several of those learners turned to look at them shaking their heads. The elevator door opened, Leora immediately walked out followed
"How could he have returned to his office?" asked Leora irritably as she looked at the group of lecturers who were eating across from them."Who is he?" asked Ruby, looking at the lecturers."Mr. Elmer. Just now he was here, suddenly he called for me to see him in his room immediately," Leora replied.Ruby and Sean looked at each other in confusion. They instantly turned their faces towards the desks of the lecturers. Then looked back at Leora's bewildered face."Leora, what are you talking about?" asked Sean in surprise."There's no Mister Elmer there, Leora," Ruby continued confused. She immediately pulled Leora's hand."What? Ah, you guys don't be kidding. Obviously he was behind me when he was picking up the drink," Leora said fiercely.Sean looked at Ruby with an annoyed look. He also looked at Leora angrily."Look at this, Ru. She has even begun to hallucinate. Everywhere was all that man she saw," Sean cursed."Sean, never mind. Leora was also confused. Don't add to the problem
Leora walked hurriedly towards her classroom. It's not usual for Leora to be late like this. Her face looked worried because today is the first day where the college start to study. It's actually not a big problem for Leora if getting late, but the lecturer who taught the first course today is a lecturer who is already famous for being very fierce and cold. Cold to men and women. There have been many stories that developed on campus that this fierce lecturer really disliked students who were late, even though they were one second late. Lecture is always on time when he starts teaching or finish his teaching sessions. Leora rushed into the elevator that almost closed to the door. "HAP!"Her leg could enter the elevator and Leora breathed a sigh of relief then. Several students seemed to smile at her. Leora returned their smiles kindly. The elevator stopped on the third floor, the students got out of the elevator. Leora, who was about to go to the fifth floor, stood there a
"Ho-how could he be so fast to walk from the front of the classroom there to be here?" asked Leora silently. Her eyes stared at the lecturer who turned his body."What's wrong, Baby?" asked Sean in surprise. He also looked back and saw the fierce lecturer's back in front of him."He?" Sean asked whispering into Leora's ear."Hm," Leora replied slowly. For some reason, the feeling in her heart was suddenly unpleasant when she saw the fierce lecturer staring at her fiercely."Never mind, don't mind him," Sean whispered as he hugged Leora's body tightly."Please stop it," Leora said as she pushed Sean's body."Hey, what's wrong with you, Leora?" asked Sean in surprise. It is not uncommon for Leora to refuse with this kind of heat.Leora just gave a sign to be quiet and not say too much. Until Elmer finally got out of the elevator then."Huft," sighed Leora in relief."What's the matter?" asked Sean in a deep eyes."I don't know. He muttered incoherently in front of me just now," Leora r
Leora subconsciously brushed off Elmer's hand that clasped her hand tightly. "What are you doing, Sir?" asked Leora in surprise. Elmer was silent without answering a word. He shook his head. Elmer looked back at the paper in front of him. Read it quickly and put it back in front of Leora."This is a summary of an elementary school children!" said Elmer curtly."You should have minimum three references," he continued. Leora just kept quiet while stared intently at the paper infront of her."Make it again!" said Elmer with a cold look. Leora raised her head and looked at Elmer with a restrained upset."Tomorrow you will make a presentation for it," Elmer continued softly. His chest suddenly rumbled when he saw Leora's clear eyeball gaze."What's wrong with this girl?" asked Elmer silently."I have this feeling about a hundred and eighties years ago," Elmer said in his heart."You can go," Elmer said finally without looking at Leora. Leora was of course stunned to see him."That, that's what I want to ask," Leora said, pointing to the lecturer in front of her."What?" asked the Lecturer coldly."How could you possibly hear what I said in my heart?" asked Leora as she stood in front of the lecturer."Ask yourself. Why can you also hear me answering you," Elmer replied, looking at the young girl in front of him calmly. The warmth began to chasten him."Its useless talking to you, Sir," Leora said as she left the room slowly.Leora walked slowly down the hallway of the classroom, which had been empty. "What's wrong, Grandma?" asked Leora in a choked voice. Eleanor's eyes closed as she spread her hands together. Then she twisted her hands up quickly and put her palms together. She carried her palms to the front of her chest, then it looked like she was pushing something heavily. Her lips twitched and her eyes opened. Her gaze was sharp only to one point. Leora just kept quiet looking at it. A chill ambushed him. Leora immediately sat cross-legged, clasping her palms together on her chest, just like her grandmother did. At least that's what her grandmother had been teaching her to do if she felt an unnatural chill.Slowly the chill disappeared. Eleanor opened her eyes and looked at Leora with some worries."Are you okay, Honey?" she asked with full of searching. Leora shooked her head and smiled."I'm okay, Grandma," she replied.
